She's blind
She can feel the tears on her cheeks,
She can hear the words others speak,
She can taste the bitterness in everything
She can smell the smoke, her world burning
But she's blind
Yes, she can see the sky above,
But she can't see the beauty within
No, She doesn't have self-love
But she does hate her own skin
She's blind
She can't see that her body's perfect
She can't see that she is worth it
She can't see the smile she puts on faces
She can't see that she's going places
Because she's blind
Her eyes are open, but her mind is closed
She's as beautiful as a winter rose
And it's sad, she doesn't know
She is as perfect as the moon's soft glow
