Umbrella

Won't you keep the rain away?

Tell Mr. Cloud

The thunder in my headphones have been on replay.

I've given up trying

To keep 20 years from now in my hands

Day by day

Magic's in unplanned.

So even just for the moment

Could the patter on the window fall

I've only got a heart beat left to lose

And a colorless painting left on this wall.

These scars aren't beautiful

Like how the night has it's stars

How the days have their clouds

And how the sun can be seen from a far.

It's beautiful

That somewhere a kid's in a Mother's arms

And some way a teddy bear's fighting

The monster in the closet, fear has lost it's harm.

My darkness isn't what you should look for

But see the happiness that keeps me halfway in the door.
