"Push Diane, push!" The Doctor said as Diane struggled to push with all her strength. After a couple of seconds, you heard loud cries of a baby. "Oh my god.. she's beautiful." Michael, Diane's husband said as he looked at the little baby being rushed to get cleaned off by the nurses.

"Well, looks like you guys had a beautiful babygirl. Have you guys thought of a name yet?" The Doctor asked as he threw his gloves away.

"Yeah, we have actually. We really are fascinated by names with meanings, so we decided to name her-"

"Aaliyah. Aaliyah Haughton." Michael interrupted Diane. Diane smiled at Michael.

"And a middle name?" The Doctor asked them. "Should we leave that up to your mom?" Michael asked. "Yeah. She said she wanted to give the baby her middle name." Diane said to Michael. "Can she come in?" Diane asked. "Yes, let me just get you situated and comfortable really quick." The Doctor said.

~ 10 minutes later ~

"Come on in, Mrs. Haughton." The Doctor said as he invited Diane's mother in the room.

"Hey honey!" Mintis softly said as she held Aaliyah's 2 year old brothers little hand. "Hey mama." Diane said as Mintis leaned down to embrace her daughter. "Oh my goodness, Diane, she's beautiful. She looks just like you." Mintis softly said as she stared at her now granddaughter.

"She really does, mama." Diane smiled down at her daughter. "You know how you were the one who wanted to give her a middle name? Well, here you go mama." Diane looked up at her mom.

"Oh, yes! I do remember. I had the idea of naming her Aaliyah Dana Haughton. How bout' that?" Mintis smiled. "God mama, that's beautiful. Yes, yes definitely, I love that." Diane gushed. "Then it's official, my granddaughter, Aaliyah Dana Haughton."

"I love it." Diane smiled at baby Aaliyah, looking up at her with curiosity in her eyes. Rashad looked up at his mom in confusion. "Baby, meet your new baby sister, Aaliyah." Diane smiled down at Rashad. Mintis picked him up, and sat him on the bed by Diane's feet.

"Would you like to hold her, Rashad?" His mother asked him. He nodded smiling. At first, he was confused, why was mommy in a hospital bed? Then he realized, God gave him a new little sister. Diane leaned over to Rashad and carefully placed Aaliyah in his little arms.

Mintis helped him hold her correctly. Rashad looked scared, he feared he would lose his grip and drop her, but little baby Aaliyah was smiling up at her big brother with her big brown eyes.

"So, what do you think baby?" Diane asked her son. He looked over to his mom and smiled. Diane knew that when he smiled, that means he enjoyed whatever it was. Diane was beyond happy that he liked his new little sister.

"Oh lord. Michael is still asleep isn't he?" Mintis asked as she looked across the hospital bed over to other side where Michael was fast asleep. "He's exhausted!" Diane chuckled. "And you're not?" Mintis asked and laughed.

"Oh no mom, hell yeah I am." Diane said, after a second, she covered her mouth with her right hand and her eyes widened. Mintis looked at her in shock, shocked because she cussed in front of Rashad. Thankfully, he was too busy playing with Aaliyah, and that he didn't hear. "It was a accident! I swear!" Diane whispered loudly. Mintis began to crack up.

"God, do I love this family." Mintis smiled.
