The bet

Harvey's POV

I saw Ella's parents and her siblings driving away while she was waving to them, next thing I see a car coming into their driveway and a girl came out from the back seat, she was really pretty, but not as pretty as Ella. That's what I thought

From what I saw it means they are friends and she might be staying for a long time because she was with two suitcases

***skip to afternoon around 3 pm**

I summon up my courage and walk to Ella's house, I ring the doorbell and it was her friend that answered

"Hello, who are you?" She questions

Before I could say anything she says "wait, you look familiar, aren't you Harvey Mills, the guy that Ella's obses..."

I saw a hand covering her mouth and preventing her from going on with what she was saying
I could only laugh, and Ella offered me to come in
"Sorry about that" she starts "that's my friend Chiamaka" she says

"Nice to meet you Chiamaka" I say, finding it difficult to pronounce her name

They both burst into laughter

"Hey, what's so funny?" I ask, slightly offended

"Pronounce the name again" Ella says

"Chiamaka" I say, still confused

"The was you say it is funny" Ella says still trying to hold her laughter

"Of course it'll sound funny, I'm British" I say, stating facts

"Yeah, that's right, sorry about that, but you can call her Ariana if you want" Ella tells me

"Okay, no problem" I say

"So why are you here?", she asked changing the subject

"Oh, yeah, cam I talk to you.....in private" I say and look at Chiamaka

"Mmmmh, okay, let's go outside then" Ella says walking to the door

When we get outside I tell her "lets make a bet" I say, with a smirk

"Okay, let me hear the bet then" She says, intrigued

"If we can get Max and Chiamaka together, I'll take you out on a date" I say

"And if we don't?" She asks me

"I'll still take you on a date", I day smiling

"This is not a fair bet, but okay" she says laughing

"Nice" I say and we walk back into the house

I got out my phone at texted Max

***conversation with max***

Me: Hey Max, I'm at Ella's house

Max: Hi Harvey, have you asked her??

Me: Not yet, but I think there's something you want to see

Max: What??

Me: You'll see, come to Ella's house, and come with Jojo.
Me: They want to make slime

Max: Okay, we'll be there in 5 minutes

***end of conversation***

Max POV

I got a text from Harvey saying I should come to Ella's house and there is something I'll want to see.
I wonder what it is?

"Hey Jojo, we are going to Ella's house now" I yell

"Okay, I'll be down in a sec" she yells

***At Ella's house***

*Knock knock*

Ella opens the door

"Oh, Hey Max, hey Jojo" she says excitedly

"Hola" Jojo said in the same mood

"Hiiiii" I say excitedly

"Come in" Ella says in opens the door wide

"Chiamaka" I hear Ella yell

"What!!!!!" I hear someone scream

"Come to the living room" Ella yells again

"Uggghhhh, fine" the same voice groans and I hear footsteps

A few seconds later I see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life come down the stairs and we make eye contact

"Chiamaka meet Jojo siwa and Max Mills, Harvey's twin" Ella says

"Heyyyyyy" Jojo says, "I love your hair"

"Thanks, I love yours too" Chiamaka says to Jojo

"Hey, I'm Max" I say getting really nervous

"Hey, I'm Chiamaka but you can call me Ariana" she says with a big smile

That's the most charming smile I've ever seen

"Okay" I say, clearly out of words

We shake hands, as we shake I felt a spark, and we made eye contact again

"Okayyyyyyy, enough of this weird love stuff" Jojo says saving us both "let's go make slimeeeeeee"

***few hours later***

Harvey's POV

I see that Max and Chiamaka are getting along really well, they have been talking and laughing since, they've been ignoring us
Which means Ella and I can go on our date now

"Hey Ella, Max and Chiamaka are really getting along" I say smirking

"Yh, your right" she says looking at them

"So......." I say

"Ugh, I know what you want" she says "not like I have a choice, fine I'll go on a date with you"

"Yayyyyyyyyy" I say happily

We laugh, her laughter is so nice to hear

"I'll go get ready" she says and turns around

"Yh, and wear something nice and casual" I yell

"Fine" she says

And I head home to wear something nice too
