Chapter 7

I woke up to the quite murmuring sounds in the room, and then I saw him and another person I can't quite figure out yet, his body covered to the wall, so I got out of bed and went in the kitchen, my eyes widen, "Jacob??, what are you doing here", he instantly sees me and gets up from his seat, he darted towards me and hugs me in a bone crushing hug.

"thankgod you're okay cas", he says through my hair, "wait, how did you know I was here?, and where are others?", He pulls out, but his arms still on my shoulder,

"Oh honey, to beat me you gotta play alot harder than that", he winks, "and for everyone", he looks at the door, then mason jumps in, jogging towards me before he wraps me in a tight hug, "I missed you, Buttercup", i was really happy to see his kid face, "I missed you too, Bubbles", He pulls out after few seconds and then stormed in the rest of the gang, Noah, julien, Tilly and Angelina. My heart just melts at this sentiment, " babe, I missed you so much", angelina snots, and so does tilly, they all hugged me at once it was a big group hug.

All of them were here, they risked their lives to live up to the friendship we share. And I swear I will do no less when the time comes.

"So whats the plan", Noah asks, "oh right the plan", Jacob smirks. I swear to god if I didnt have a better of a brother or friends I would rather be dead by now.

We all sit at the living room, as we listen to Jacob's master plan. "We move at 9pm sharp, which gives us exactly two hours to get ready", "get ready? Get ready for?", i asked in confusion.

" babe, we gonna fucking gas em bitches", angelina shots up with adrenaline injected in her veins and she can't wait to participate in the rush, noah pulls her to his lap and they share a passionate kiss, i watch them as i think of what changed in mine relationship with Aron, i gave him what he wanted, and shouldnt that make both of us happy?, yet i feel worse than before.

Jacob throws a set of keys by which Aron caught at ease by extending and arm. "Thanks man"
Jacob nods, "wouldn't want that red baby to be left alone in the woods".

"You'll see", Aron places a comfortable arm on my shoulder with a smirk present on his face. Mason and noah smirks to themselves while in thought. I guess everyone knows what they are up againts and have already cooked up the plan waiting for action.

It is 8.30, and we are at the dim lit garage waiting for Julien's signal motioning the path is clear. Once he gives it, Aron takes my hand and we run towards his red challenger, angy, Noah and julien got in the wrangler while jacob and tilly in the Mercedes.

Aron turns on the lifeless hunk of metal into a roaring beast and it purred out of the garage, followed by the other roaring beast the wrangler and hum of the sleek mercedes following behind, we drove out of the the garage and entered the roads lightened up with bright streetlights, the intercoms shot up as Jason spoke, "keep formation guys, we got a tail".

My heartbeat picks up its pace, we are being followed, those are bad guys with big guns, and they are out there to get me. I'm putting everyone's life in danger.

Tears start to prick the corners of my eyes. Aron glances towards me and places his warm hand on my thigh, "its going to be alright babe, I promise", i watch as he spoke and the only thing i could do is nod.

We passed through the roads filled with traffic, yet the black window tinted SUVs followed us. Julien shoots, "Incoming!!", we see three men on top of the SUV lining up guns aiming at us, "is that a fucking sub machine gun?", i shout, catching Arons attention, "Shit", is all he says when the black road lit up with bursts of
sparks of light as they had opened fire, this is some fast and furious bullshit but this shit is real, going down real fast.

Aron ducks through the heavily stained traffic and makes his way towards a intersection before he jerks the vehicle and we stopped abruptly. "Aron, what is it?", his eyes were trained at the black SUV right in front of us, he smirks, he tightens his grip arround the steering wheel, his knuckles turn white. "just as I expected", he adjusted the gear, and stepped on the accelerator and brake, the air was now being fogged by the smoke coming from the tires, and soon our vision of the SUV was completely blacked out by the smoke, he pressed two fingers at his intercom and I saw his lips move "break".

"I come in peeace!", screams mason as he drove past by us and hit the SUV, making it roll on the ground, I covered my ears in shock and Aron shifts the gear as he makes a hard left to the opposite direction while the others turn to the right, and the next thing I know is all the black SUVs following my friends and jacob.

that was a brilliant diversion, "what about them?", I ask hurriedly, "dont worry babe, jacob and the boys know what they are doing", feeling a little relived I sit comfortably, as we drove slow on the country lanes.

The only things I see are the dark silhouettes of tress. "Will they be okay"?, I ask out of worry, unable to comprehend what are the possibilities of what could happen. My eyes stare at his defined features for the longest time. "You know you can just take a picture it lasts longer", he says with a smirk.

I look away embarrassed while a smile crept up my face. "Well then let me have the honour", I take out my phone and open the camera. And points it at his face, the lense capturing all the perfect lines, but something caught my attention in the camera and I looked passed through him to his window, "whats that?", he turns but it was too late.

A big black jeep hits our car and we roll off-road, everything before me happens in slow motion, the glass cracking and aron screaming for what seems to be my name as my hearing is off, my mind flashes a vision of what happend last time when i was with dad, we are upside down with his blood pouring down his forehead and the car stops rolling, my conscience slowly starting to go dark and so it had.

Utter darkness took over me.
