12. Oh my dear....

Karthick's POV :
As I entered the building of my house, I saw the door to be closed. I was surprised. Usually my family stands outside to welcome me. But today? Never mind. I opened the door to get startled. All my family and friends shouted congratulations Karthick. I was overwhelmed. I touched the foot of Paati and got blessings from ma and pa. Then I took blessings from Lakshmi athai and parasuram mama .( athai - dad's sister and mama - athai's husband) Then I saw Rajasekhar mama and his family. My mom nudged me to get blessings from them too. I was stubborn not to do so. He came and shook hands with me. Then my friends came and we all had a group hug. They lifted me and they were screaming with happiness. I met everyone whom I love and even the one I hate but where is my special one. I am searching her since the time I have come but she is not here. My family addresses her as their daughter, sister and so on but why they have not invited her? She will be here only I think I should check well. Oh my dear where are you? Thinking about her I was roaming. Then the bitch shalmili came from no where and hugged me. I pushed her immediately.

Karthick : what is this shalmili ??

Shalmili : what? you know na I love you..

Karthick : idiot how many times should I tell you that I don't like all such things.

Shalmili : Now you are saying this. One day you will say that you love me.

Karthick : That will never happen even in your dreams.

Shalmili : I will make you mine Karthick. Just wait and watch.

Karthick : I can't see you even for a second. In this I have to wait and watch you aaa?? Then I will vomit on you girl.

Shalmili : sweetheart what ever you say I am not going to get offended because I love you way too much.

Karthick : stupid girl. Waste of my time.

After my encounter with this useless creature again I started roaming in search of my monkey girl. But again I was forced to face 2 other jokers.

Rithu : Hi sir.

Karthick : hmm yes.

Anu : sir we are Priya ka's friends. We just wanted to congratulate you sir.

Rithu : sir you played brilliantly sir. In the second match also you played well sir but because of Shravan you got out sir. In 3rd match that six though.......................

I did not know what the hell these 2 girls are blabbering. Nothing entered my brain. I am longing to see my girl. Then I thought let me ask these girls.

Karthick : hmm thank you. Does my sister have only 2 friends??

Anu : no sir that actually there is another one Avan

Lakshmi : Karthick come here.
Before the girl can complete, athai called me. I think today luck is not in favour. When I walked towards athai I saw all the girls sitting and gossiping together. This is what finally happens in family gatherings - gossiping.

Karthick : what athai??

Lakshmi : what you are roaming since the time you have come. We all have come to meet you. And you are not talking with us. Busy in your own world?

Karthick : I was searching for you only athai.

Priya : you were searching for athai??
I think I am a bad liar. All started to laugh.

Karthick : why all are laughing?

Harini : we believe you Karthick.
Then again all started to laugh.

Karthick : Have you invited all??

Priya : I think we have invited all the important ones. Do you think we haven't invited anyone in particular??

Karthick : never mind.
Then I saw my Avi coming. Oh now only she is coming. But she is looking all tired yet cute. I was looking at her. I forgot that my family is around me.

Priya's POV :
It was funny to watch Karthick. He was roaming around searching for Avi. Myself, mom, anni and Lakshmi athai were sitting and chatting. Rajasekhar mama family were talking with dad. Here everyone were looking at Karthick and we planned to tease him. Suddenly Shalmili appeared before him and hugged him. It was too much fun to watch. He jerked her off . We were not able to hear what they were talking but figured out that she was flirting with my brother and he was annoyed with her. Then he was talking no no probably listening what rithu and Anu was saying. Then we decided to tease him.

Lakshmi athai called him and was asking why he was roaming. My poor brother can't lie or accept the truth that he is in love. But it is very much evident that he is head over heals in love with Avi. That was evident by the way he was looking at Avi when she came. Sathish called and informed me that Avi was in an emergency case and would come here late. He also said that she didn't eat anything from morning because of her hectic work today. I am a stupid. I didn't allow her to eat even in her break. I was busy in inviting her home. Sathish is mbbs student doing his internship. Avi stays in the flat that belongs to Sathish's parents. They are very kind people and Sathish takes care of Avi like his elder sister. She came home looking all tired. Poor girl always she cares about everyone except her.

Karthick's POV :

Avanthika : congratulations sir. We all are so happy for you and surely you will reach further heights.

Though everyone wished me it was her wish which made my eyes shine and heart smile. Oh my dear please stay with me for ever and ever. But I can't voice out my thoughts now because this is not correct occasion for that. Harini anni nudged my hand and whispered to say something as I was totally lost with her one wish.

Karthick : why were you late??
Everyone around me were shocked. Even I was shocked. So stupid of me to ask her that. Even she was shocked but she overcame that and answered gently.

Avanthika : I was getting ready to come here. At that time there came an emergency case sir.

Before I can say something mom asked us to come for dinner. Naina came running towards Avi and she lifted her. Naina asked Avi to feed her. Pri said Naina that she will feed her since Avi didn't eat from morning. My girl doesn't know to take care of her. I was so much angry as she didn't have food. But at present I have to control my emotions. But she said she will feed Naina and then have food. Priya forced Avi to give Naina to her. But Naina hugged Avi tightly. Avi said it's ok she will eat later. Priya murmured "please take care of you also" to Avi and she left angrily. She fed Naina and she came to the place where Myself and Priya were standing. Not to us but to wash her hands. Suddenly she fainted. I held her before she could fall on the ground.
