(Keith's P.O.V.)
I don't really focus on the food, as I pick at it. I'm really just thinking about what's been happening to me in the past week. I don't think what happened to me was at random. Haggar targeted me, and I couldn't stop her.
And then, with the crashing coldness, I realize, I couldn't stop her, so how is anyone else going to be able to?
I shake my head to clear it as Lance speaks, but I missed most of what he had said. Hunk replies with a quick smile. "Aww, thanks buddy. You know, I try."
I grab my fork and spear a sausage and toss it into my mouth. I don't feel hungry, but that's probably a signal that I should eat something.
Allura appears in the doorway, and smiles warmly at all of us. "Paladins. We are going to continue the obstacle course now that Keith is feeling better. You all still need to form a stronger bond with your lions, and learn to maneuver. We will be leaving in two vargas."
Oh yippy. I think, salty as ever.
I've now lost my appetite, and I grab my plate to wash it.
Standing up, I make sure to give Allura the stink eye as I walk by. She smiles at me warmly, as if my glare had not fazed her. I roll my eyes, and make it to the kitchen where I start scraping the rest of my breakfast into the trash.
I felt an odd churning in my stomach, immediately shaking my head. I was nervous. Obviously, I knew I wasn't okay. Not yet anyways. We can't be sure, and I keep claiming Haggar is somehow controlling Black. If Zarkon could control Black, maybe Haggar could too.
"Stupid Allura. Stupid Lions. Stupid space. Stupid everything. Ugh." I mutter angrily to myself as I scrub my dish clean in the sink.
"God, freaking everything and everyone here." I hope to make myself better by cursing everything out, and to be honest, it helps a little, but I'm still salty.
When am I not?
(Lance's P.O.V.)
Hunk smiles at what I said, and replies, "Aww, thanks buddy. You know, I try."
I shovel some scrambled eggs into my mouth, and finish my breakfast right as Allura arrives in the doorway. "Paladins. We are going to continue the obstacle course now that Keith is feeling better. You all still need to form a stronger bond with your lions, and learn to maneuver. We will be leaving in two vargas."
I sigh, disappointed. I thought Allura was going to give Keith a few more days to make sure he had really recovered. I don't even think he's completely recovered.
Speaking of the Edgelord, he stands up, picking up his half eaten breakfast, and gives Allura the fucking stink eye as he walks past her. Like, wtf?! She just smiles at him, as if she didn't notice the look he had given her.
Keith keeps claiming that Haggar is somehow controlling Black. To be honest, I don't blame him. It's also on my list of suspicions. I sigh, and take my actually empty plate to the kitchen after Keith.
He's muttering angrily to himself, and I can only guess that he's cursing at everything in existence to make himself feel better. Probably.
"God, freaking everything and everyone here." I inwardly sigh, and walk up to him quietly. I don't know why, but I don't really want Keith to know I'm here just yet.
I set my plate down on a counter behind me, and creep up behind him. Gosh, this is going to be awkward. Now I'm behind him. I purse my lips, and wrap my arms around his torso, hoping he doesn't elbow me in self defense.
