Chapter 2 - A Night with You

As night fell the blue haze of the day lifted to reveal the stars. Stars shone as sugar spilt over black marble, glistening in the sun.

We found a place to stay for the night. The others and I have finalized our tents. Fortunately, there are only two tents available and there's 4 of us including me.

We all stared at each other.

"I'm staying with Brother Estes!"

Layla raised her hand.

"Well, then that's automatically decided. Miya will be staying with me."

I said.

"A... Alu... C-Can I-i stay with Layla?"

Miya asked with a cute pleading face.

"The decision has been made! I don't accept any more objections."

I replied.

'Hmph! He's so cold and bossy!'

Miya rolled her eyes.

Later that night, we're all inside our tents. The night was so calm and peaceful.

Miya turned around and confronted Alucard face to face. He was sleeping peacefully. She was dumbfounded by his looks.

'I didn't think he was this handsome.'

She lifted her hand and pat down his cheek. She overlooked at Alucard.

'He's cute even when he's sleeping.'

She smiled.

Then, Alucard dashed and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards him.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Alucard whispered out in hostility.

They were like an inch close that Miya turned red and rolls around.

"I-i was just saying away a mosquito! Don't overthink yourself!"

"Oh really? I don't think I see any mosquitoes here."

"J-just go to sleep! You know that I'm very tired! S-so stop talking to me!"

"Look who's the one pestering us."

"By the way, you do look cute when you blush."

Miya's heart suddenly skipped a beat. She smiled. She bit her own lips. And gently closed her eyes.
