The kiss

Finns POV

I look at Jack right before our "scene" starts and smile. He smiles back.

"Look Richie. I get it. You have the perfect life. You have an amazing mom, and dad. A sister who loves you. And you have the hottest girl in school all over you. I get it.."
"No. Eddie, I dont think you do."
"What are you talking about?"
"Remember at the party when you told me you loved me?"
"What?"
"I wasnt sleeping. I heard you.."
"And you still didnt respond."
Finn looks annoyed with the talking. Not Richie. Finn.
"Because I didnt know how."
"You just say it back. It isn't hard you know."
"Eddie, I had a girlfriend. Other people would've heard me. For christ sakes. Everyone knows your gay. But.."
"But what? Richie doesnt have the perfect life? Richie doesnt have the perfect family? And richie isn't as badass as he thinks?"
The crowd "ooes" in awe.
"Damnit Eddie. I love you."
"I love you to, Rich. Hince us being best friends."
"No.."
"No? What do you mean no? I'm going home. My mom says that her friend got sick from staying out too late once and-" he cuts me off and kisses me.
He wasnt supposed to kiss me yet. He was supposed to kiss me after I told him I hated him. Umm I'm just gonna go with it.
"You love me love me?"
"Of course i do."
"But...what about your perfect girlfriend?"
"We broke up."
"Why?"
"Because she wasnt as perfect as you JaEddie.."
Was he about to say my name?!

Finn's POV
"She wasnt as perfect as you Jack.." no. I cant say that. Shit I've already started.
"JaEddie.." I fix myself before I fuck everything up. He cant know I like him. He just cant know.

"Richie..."
"Yeah?"
"Kiss me again?"
That wasnt in the script. I look at Mrs. Briss. The drama teacher. She quickly nods and tells me "The show must go on"
So I do it. I kiss him again. This time I decide to make it more real. I grab Jack's waist and bring him closer to me. At first hes thrown off by surprise but he quickly comes back to me. He keeps his lips on mine and I keep my lips on his. Both of my hands are on his waist, his hands around my neck.

After what felt like forever, Jack finally broke the kiss.
"I love you. You're my everything."
Did he have to fake that? Or did he mean it?

No one's POV
Of course Jack meant it. No one could slip that out as easily as Jack did without there being feelings involved.
"I...I love you too, you're the reason I live." Finn meant his too. The two boys didnt realize it at the point in time, but they were slowly falling in love more and more with each other.

*2 weeks after the play*
Millie's POV
I walk to my locker and see a note. "Millie" it had to have been from Finn. It had a little heart next to my name just like he draws them.

Dear Millie,
A poem for the girl of my dreams.

My time with you, I will always be remember. We met way back that first September. The way you first smiled at me, my heart was happy, I felt glee.
You will always remain the girl of my dreams. Hanging out with you is like eating ice cream. It's nice and fun until you get hurt, I must say at the most I feel I should blurt.
Millie I'm sorry to say, that yes indeed. I am gay.

I look around and see Finn walking around with Jack. Hes gay for Jack isn't he? Are they dating.

I text Jack and ask him to come over and he said he was on his way 5 minutes ago. He should be here.

*a few minutes later*
"Hey Jack." I say opening the door before he even knocks.
"Hey, M. You wanted to talk?"

"Yeah. Are you and Finn dating?"
