CHAPTER 8: What Are You Hiding?

One week later~~~

Your P.O.V

It's about 3:00 in the morning and I'm getting ready for today since we have a concert in Chicago and it is a long road ahead. After heading out of the shower (I know it's 3:00 but bathing is a must) I decided to call mom. She moved to ____ (Asian country) since she is ____ (chosen nationality). I wanted to call her before I debut on stage.

But before I entered her number, it crossed my mind. What will Ryu think? Will he be mad at me? Will he still be my friend? I sighed and proceeded to call her.

Mom: Hello?

Me: Hey mom, how have you been?

Mom: I'm fine son, I still feel great.

Me: *smirks* well that's great to hear...

Me: Hey mom, can I ask you something, please.

Mom: Of course, honey... what's the problem?

Me: Well... I started singing...

Mom: Really?! Wow! I'm so proud of you!

Me: Heh thanks mom... anyways, I covered my name so no one would recognize me but I just really need to tell Ryu about it and I don't know how. can you help me?

Mom: Well I mean Ryu and you have been friends for 10 years. You know him well, don't you?

Me: Yeah, that's right

Mom: Well.. just straight up tell him , he would understand. I know he would be okay with it because you two are really great friends. Even if you both disagree... it will still be okay in the end. Not even the world can bring you two down. And not to mention you both are very handsome *giggles*

Me: *giggles* Thanks mom but...

Mom: But what?

Me: uh... nevermind, mom, thanks

Mom: okay hun thank you for calling me. I missed you.

Me: I missed you too mom, bye.

Mom: Bye son!

I ended the call and proceeded to change. I really has been a long time since I talk to mom. I missed her voice, I really missed the best mom in the world.

I went to the kitchen saw Ryu making French toast. "Good morning," said Ryu. "Good morning," I respond back. "Making French toast huh" "yup, I know you love the way I make it," "aww you know me so well pup hehe." "Hehe of course sir."

Not long after, Ryu put to platters in front of us with french toast and bacon. We ate it a bit faster than usual since we needed to get going.

We went to the studio for last minute packing and went inside the van and drove off.

After a hours driving, we arrived at Chicago with some spare time. I told Ryu I was gonna go walk around.

I searched for where Jack is and I saw him near a clothes shop waiting for me. "How long have you been waiting?" I ask him "Oh, Y/N, there you are. We just arrived a while ago." He answered.

"So where am I gonna perform?" I ask him, "Chicago Music Bank Stage (CMBS)" "WHAT?!" "Why what's the problem?" "That's too close from the tour stage!""Well I'm just your manager, I don't make decisions."

I sighed as Jack led me to my hotel bedroom. There are 3 schedules for this week: Day 1-Song showcase; Day 2 - Autograph sessions; Day 3-Interviews.

After a while, I went back to the van and told Ryu and the crew I got a substitute manager since I will stay for the "furry convention" and interviews.

We then prepared for the concert at 6pm.

Ryu's P.O.V

It was a pretty normal concert. Took some fan selfies and sang covers. I heard someone talk about C/N which all most made me burst but I kept my cool.

I decided to walk around as well. I bought some souvenirs and snacks for the guys. And yes, took some photos with the fans.

I still wonder why Y/N is staying for conventions and stuff. Normally he'd avoid going to one since he's kinda awkward with people.

I looked around and not atleast one convention poster has been hung up and no one was preparing for it.

Somethings fishy about how Y/N's acting and I need to know why.

Before the guys took off, I asked the manager if it was ok to stay here for three days and she said yes. She was kind of careless but thanks to her I was able to book a room at a hotel.

Now tell me Y/N, what are you up too?
