Loki's Point of view:

The frustrating runt had fallen asleep quickly on the other end of the couch. I hated that she was wearing my clothes but she did look good in them. I would never admit it though. She was frustrating for no reason and that made it worse. She shivered in her sleep causing me to sigh and get up for a blanket.

Astrid's P.O.V

I woke up with a start. I didn't recognize where I was at. Slowly the memories flooded back from the night before and I relaxed knowing I was safe. I snuggled into the blanket I had around me but paused not remembering having a blanket. I shrugged off how I got it and looked around. There was a kitchen area where Loki was rummaging through the cabinets.

"Good morning," I chirped as I stretched trying my best not to be angry about practically being kidnapped.

"It's afternoon, my dear," Loki chuckled as he pulled stuff down.

"What!?" I gasped tripping over the blanket trying to get up.

"What's wrong?"

"I have work, ugh I knew I shouldn't have staid here," I yelled frustratedly as I stubbed my toe and fell over.

"Calm down, Tony quit for you earlier today," Loki said coming over and having me sit down.

"How am I going to pay for my crappy apartment now!?" I yelled furiously. "TONY!"

"Ah, finally awake I see, what's going on?" Stark asked coming in as I yelled for him.

"How dare you quit my job for me!" I said punching him square in the jaw. It took him by surprise.

"Well, you can definitely pack a punch," Tony said holding the side of his face.

"Shut up, why did you ruin my life!? Do you know how hard it was to even get that job!?"

"You said you didn't like it anyway, Thor said you didn't get paid well over there."

"Yea but it kept a roof over my head. What am I supposed to do now?" I was so mad my glowed purple from my power. MY apartment wasn't the reason I was upset about losing my job but they didn't need to know everything about me.

"Don't kill him, Lady Astrid, it's not worth it, trust me," Loki said appearing in front of me.

"Get in my way and I'll kill you too," I sneered as I started to losecontrol.

"Now, now little runt," he teased. Wrong move. I blasted him and Tony out the window.

I ran to the elevator but it wouldn't work. The A.I. of the building was prohibiting my departure.

"Going somewhere?" Loki asked teleporting behind me. "Calm down, pet, you're letting the power control you now and we can't have that can we?" he grabbed me around the waist with my arms pinned to my sides. He let his frost giant coolness sweep over me to cool things off literally.

I struggled mercilessly but my strength was no match for the god. The coolness lessened the fire of rage and power that dwelled inside me. Slowly I gave up my struggle and leaned back against him panting hard.

"Already panting and I've hardly done anything...yet," Loki teased in my ear just audible for me to hear.

"Pervert," I panted trying to get him to let go but he refused.

"You like it," Loki smirked.

"Loki," I warned.

"Are you sure you won't kill him?"

"I promise okay? I just, I don't know what to do, I was already behind on rent, they'll kick me out soon if I don't pay and now without a job, I have no way to pay them."
