Now, the Mayor's Jubilee was supposed to change everything. Be a new start. But when we woke up the next morning, Riverdale was still, at its heart, a haunted town. Meanwhile, Archie Andrews, who doesn't even have a driver's license yet,is at this very moment careening down the streets of Riverdale, trying to outrace death. Now, I don't believe in miracles, usually, but it was a miracle that Archie got his dad to Riverdale General without wrecking the truck.

Cheryl and I smirked slyly at one another as we walked in the hospital with Penelope on a stretcher. "Cheryl, what's going on? Is that your mom? What happened?" Betty and Kevin asked coming over, "Oh, haven't you heard? There was a terrible fire at Thornhill last night." I told them, "Evie, and I, might've perished if not for Mommy's heroics." Cheryl said and we smiled at each other."Oh, my God, is this the apocalypse?" Kevin asked, "After my ordeal at Sweetwater River, Evie and I went back to Thirnhill, and we fell asleep when the fire started. They think it was a breeze knocking over a lit candle, catching the curtains. Mommy got home from the Jubilee and rushed headlong into the blaze, risking her life to save mine. Unfortunately, she suffered third-degree burns and acute smoke inhalation." Cheryl told them as a nurse come to us, "Miss Spellman? This way." she said and I nodded following her.
I jumped up on the bed as she checked me over. "Miss Spellman, Your Aunt is here." she told me and I nodded, "Let her in." I told her and Aunt Hilda walked in. The nurse walked out as Aunt Hilda gave me alook. "What is satan's name happened Everleigh Spellman?" she asked and I sighed, "How'd you find out?" I asked, "Sabrina." we both said and I chuckled.
"Alright honey, everything looks good. Just apply some burn cream and you should be fine." Dr Masters said and I smiled, "Thank you." I told him and aunt Hilda smiled at me as he left.
"Penelope Blossom Auntie. She.. She was treating Cheryl very very poorly if I hadn't helped her, who knows where Cheryl would be. She has a history of not wanting to be here Auntie." I said and she stood up smiling softly. "Oh honey bee. Your father would be so proud of your demenor." she told me and I smiled brightly. "We wont tell Zelda." she said winking at me.
We walked out and Jughead rushed over to us, "Ev? What happned are you okay?" he asked notcing my wrapped hand and bandage sticking out of my shirt. "Yes, just a little burn i'll be fine." I said and he nodded. "I have business in Greendale Juggy, Text me what happens okay?" I asked and he agreed. "I heard everything love, im awfully sorry." Aunt Hilda told Jughead, before she went towards the car and I waved at my friends before walking after her.
-My hair fell wet as I curled up next to Ghost. "I'm fine Ghost, just shocked really. Fred Andrews is okay so that's all that matters." I told my familiar. "I've been looking for you today." I heard and looked up seeing Nick.
"Sorry. My friends dad got shot in Riverdale, and then I set a house on fire" I said holding up my wrapped hand. Nick walked over sitting on the edge of my bed, "I was worried, you didn't respond to my spell." he said and I smiled, "I was in a room full of mortals I couldn't just spout off the Latin." I joked leaning up, as a sparrow was outside my window.
"You shoulf go, and i'll see you tomorrow." I said and Nick smiled and asked, "You scared for my Spellman." He asked and I chuckled, "Only waiting for the real you." I winked and waved my hand cutting the connection off.
