Knucklehead to a hero

Prologue

Yodaime Hokage was working in his office when he got the news that his wife is in labor and would give birth to their child at any time. He left all his work and rushed out of his office. He ran on the busy and bustling Konoha streets until he reached the hospital reception.

"excuse me, can you please tell me where was Kushina Uzumaki taken" asked Minato.

The receptionist raised her head to see who was asking that and immediately stood and bowed with respect to the fourth Hokage and said: "good evening lord fourth, kushina-sama was taken in the operation room no. 4 on the fourth floor".

"thank you," Minato said and immediately rushed towards the fourth floor to see his wife and child.

When Minato reached the operation room he heard kushina in pain he wanted to go inside and comfort his wife but the nurses stopped him.

"please lord fourth you can not go inside the medics need to help kushina-sama to deliver the children" said one nurse

Minato was shocked when the nurse said children and asked "what do you mean by children"

Second nursed responded "yes lord fourth children, kushina-sama and you are having twins"

"what? We are having twins? Why didn't I knew about it?" minato asked shocked.

First nurse then responded "we are really sorry hokage sama, but kushina sama asked us not to tell you."

"she said she wanted to suprise you on the day of the birth" said second nurse.

Minato was about to say something when he heard a cry and a nurse came out and said "congratulations hokage sama you are now a father, your first child is a healthy baby boy"

"thank you" said minato while smiling softly and the nurse went inside the operation room again.

Then after sometime he heard the cry of another baby and out came the nurse again and said "congratulations again hokage sama its a healthy and beautiful baby girl"

"thank you, can I go and see my wife and children" asked minato to which the nurse said yes and he went inside the room.

When Minato went inside the room he saw Kushina on the bed covered in sweat and traces of tears in her eyes while holding two babies and craddling them in her arms. He went near her and kissed her forehead while crying himself and said "thank you Kushina for making me a father to two beautiful children"

Kushina smiled and said softly "do you want to hold them"

Minato asked "can I" to which kushina replied with a smile "ofcourse, here hold her our daughter"

Minato held the baby and said "hello baby I am your father, you are beautiful just like your mother." Kushina smiled at that and Minato then looked at another baby sleeping peacefully in Kushina's arms and said with a smile "they are both beautiful" At that time a medic came in and said "sorry disturbing the both of you hokage sama and lady kushina but, do you know what you are gonna name them"

Minato looked thoughtful for a while and said while looking at the baby in her arms "how about we call him Naruto"

"Naruto,....hm I like it" said kushina with a smile and asked "what about our daughter"
