Chapter 4

Itachi's POV.
"I-itachi-San is there something that is bothering you" she asked.
"Hn" I gave her a questioning look.
"um...uno y-you see I-I have been wondering this since evening..." she said

"hn what is it..." I asked her.
"I-Itachi-san is their s-something that is bothering you...you seem like something or someone is bothering you..." she asked looking at me.
To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I didn't know how to react on that. How can a little girl at the same age of my younger brother notice that something's bothering me. No one and I mean not even my own family was able to decipher that I am having a conflict within myself. What should I do should I tell her but that might put her in danger. But I want someone to talk to about this and she is able to tell that I am in a conflict with myself.
I looked at her again and saw her watching me and that made me tell her about my problems.
"I am surprised that you were able to tell that something was bothering me" I said.
She grinned and said " hokage-jii-San always says that a ninja must be able to read underneath the underneath".
I gave her a smile and said "one day you will become a great ninja".
She grinned yet again and said "believe it...now will you tell me what is bothering you maybe I can help you out".
I sighed and said "alright I will tell you there is something that I have to do for the village yet doing it would mean that I am betraying my clan".
She looked at me and said "how can you betray your clan when only thing you are doing is protect the village".
"The village elders gave me a mission that will make me betray my clan, my family..." I sighed.
"What is the mission that those old fogeys gave you" she asked me while narrowing her eyes.
"Old fogeys?" I asked while smirking.
"Yea, I mean they are still interfering with the village matters when they should already be retired or even more better when they should already be in their grave" she said making ne laugh about what she said.
I calmed down from my laughing fit caused by what she said and asked her "why did you said that they are village elders they want good for the village".
She snorted and said "the only thing that they want is the good of themselves humph i don't like them especially that Danzo one eye freak".
"Why?" I asked her getting confused to why she doesn't like them.
"One day when I was going to enter hokage-jii-San's office he was taking to Danzo so I stood outside and waited for him to leave and I heard him saying that hokage-jii-san should put me  in a sealed room in his care because I am dangerous for the village so I slowly opened the door of the office to see who was talking to hokage-jii-san and I saw Danzo talking to hokage-jii-san". She said and stopped for a while.
This story had already piqued my interest so I asked her "then what happened what did hokage- sama said".
"Hokage-jii-san stood up and walked over to the window while his back was facing Danzo and he refused him. He said that I am normal and i am not dangerous at all. So he should leave this matter and after that i saw Danzo bring a kunai out of his sleeves and aiming it at hokage-jii-san i got scared and opened the door getting their attention" she said.
I was shocked that a village elser would do something like this. I wanted to know what happened after that why was Danzo not punished so I asked her to continue.
"When I entered the hokage office Danzo put the kunai back in his sleeve and left the office. When hokage-jii-san and I were alone in his office I told him what Danzo tried to do. He just said he know and asked me not to tell anyone else about it. I asked him why not and he said that he is the only team mate that he is left with and he doesn't want to loose him as well like his teacher and other team member and his students" she said while completing the story.
I looked at her with shock evident on my face and asked her "is what you said all true".
She just nodded her head in yes.
"Don't tell this to anyone else ok?" I gold her.
She nodded her head in yes yet again.
"Now will you tell me what is the mission that those old fogeys gave you" she asked me.
I looked at her and she was looking at me I sighed and told her "they gave me the mission to...to m...kill my...kill my whole clan".
Her eyes widened in shock and rage "what? Why?".
I sighed and said "because my clan is planning for coup-de-etat against the vilage".
"What does that mean" she asked looking confused.
"It means that my clan wants to take over the village" I said.
"What? Why would they do that?" She asked.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and said "I can not tell you that but I have no other choice but to take the mission as I am a shinobi a weapon to protect my village and if I don't do it they will kill my whole clan and if I do it i can protect my little brother I love him too much to let him die".
"No I don't believe that hokage-jii-san would agree to something like this shinobi are human beings not weapons they have emotions like love, happiness, sadness, anger while weapons can not feel these emotions and even if you do it how can you be so sure that they would let sasuke and you live after that. Even if they let you both live then what Sasuke will hate you for what you did he will have to grow up without knowing what love is what familial ties are he would grow with out parents love and care. You don't know how it feels to be alone no one to care for you and nobody to love you no parents or family to go home to" she said while crying.
I looked at her and understanding that this girl knows what it means to be alone and of I do it my little brother will also be alone. Thinking about him all alone made my heart clenched.
She wiped her tears and said "Itachi-San please don't do it there must be another way to stop the Uchiha clan...please don't do it" she said while pleading me.
I sighed and said "you are right Sakura there must be a way to stop the Uchiha clan from performing Coup-De-Etat thank you for opening my eyes".

"heh i know i am always right because  hokage can't be wrong dattebayo" said sakura to Itachi.

"Hn, you should probably go home it's getting really late" said Itachi.

"eh, you are right..bye bye itachi-san" said sakura as she left from there.

"hn...you probably wanna come out  now Shisui" said Itachi while standing up and out came a boy from the shadows.
