Then the two girls went to the kitchen to cook something, Chris joined them and sat on the table.
"How we are feeling today Stormy?"Chris asked while eating the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, "First of all, good thank you buddy. Chris and Storm was eating their breakfast in silent, Chris cut that off by saying, "Remember when I call you like in two mouths ago and told you that I'm going to put tabs on HYDRA and their movements, I found something last night."Chris said in a low voice so his daughter won't hear.
Storm's heart immediately jumped in the mere of hearing HYDRA's name, "just tell me without introductions"Storm said, "well they've been moving a lot in the past three days, I don't think that it's just a coincidence, by the time that you and that James guy like 20 minutes apart"Chris add, "Shit, this real messed up, but hey I believe this is a good day for me, why don't we act like it's a coincidence maybe it is?"Storm being all hopeful more than usual, "But Storm you've been avoiding HYDRA for along time, why you're risking it now?"Chris asked, "I'm not but I'm sick of hiding, but okay now I'm not living alone I want you and Alli safe away from this drama so if you saw any other movement tell me and I'll handle it"Storm said to make her worried friend calm down.
Then Allison came in and said that the girls agreed of this 'only girls' day and they'll have to meet up in the mall to have their nails done. They said goodbye to Chris and changed to cute outfits and then went to the mall.
At the Avengers headquarter :
Tony Stark was teaching James how to use the phone, and James was picking up really fast.
"Here you go, now you know how to call, text and send pictures. Social media isn't your thing is it?"Tony said, "No, I'm good with this, Thanks Stark"James said, "no problem"Tony said and then left.
Steve comes in seeing Bucky writing down a number which was on a paper and put it in the contacts list, "hold up, is that the girl who helped you number?"Steve said, "yeah, why you're asking?"James said, "nothing it just you look like you really like her"Steve using his best friend distraction on the phone to know the truth, "yeah, wait... what? No I don't"James said, Steve laughed at his best friend reaction, "shut up, jerk"James smiled a little, "I'm just thanking her for what she's done"James said, "well you thank her a lot, just kidding, you're going to call her?"Steve asked, "maybe, I think I'll text her"James said, "yeah that's works too"Steve said and pat James shoulder and leave him be.
'That was close. Is it that obvious that I'm thinking about her? Okay let me say it to rest my soul, I like her, I like her a lot in fact. And while the girls were talking some anonymous number called Storms phone.
"Hello?"Storm picked up, "hey, it's me Bucky"James said on the phone. Storm was surprised because she didn't really expect that he'll call her.
James finally admitting to himself that he likes Storm, but will he tell her? And will Storm go for Allison advice for not telling the soldier theit past together? What will James say on the phone to Storm or it'll be awkward conversation not knowing what to say?
