Bucky went to were all the Avengers were and he sat next to Wanda and Steve.
"So Manchurian Candidate, I'm throwing a party celebrating the fact that you joined this team, well actually it's a ball party"Tony told James, "thanks, but you don't have too Stark"James said, "I know I don't have too, but I want to I feel like I want to put on a a suit so yeah we're doing it, and for God sake call me Tony"Tony said, James shakes his head.
Steve was leaning in to talk to James and not let anyone hear them.
"Hey why don't you invite that girl, Storm right?. Let her come to this ball party, as your date"Steve said, James really liked it but he wasn't really sure if he should go for it and invite her.
"I don't know Steve, like I just know her and now I'm gonna be like hey wanna come to this ball party with me?, it's just weird"James said, "it's not weird, it's just a ball and it's gonna be an ice breaker for both of you"Steve said.
James add, "look Steve okay I like her but it doesn't mean like I wanna be with her, plus I don't want her to be caught up with all of our messed up things"James said, "fine"Steve sighed.
'I do want to be with her, I really do. But I don't want her to get hurt or even worse because of me, people usually end up like that around me, and yes it might seem not selfish but I want her to be happy even if I'm not in the picture.' Bucky thought.
Back to the girls in Storm room :
They were watching a funny movie together and it just got started.

"Hello?"Storm asked, "hello, this is Storm's phone?"a guy said on the other side of the phone, "yes sir, who is this?"Storm being polite, "Hi, it's Steve Rogers"He said, "ohh hi, from where did you get my number?"she asked, "from Buck's phone, I'm sorry it's sounds weird but I wanted to invite you to this ball party that we're throwing for celebrating James joining us, I want you to come and surprise him"he said, "and why me?"she asked, "well let's just say that Buck trust a few people and you're one of this short list, and also I wanted to thank you in person for helping my friend"he said, they paused a little, "so what do you think?"he asked, "I might go not really sure"she answered, "that's good enough for me, see you tonight"He said, they both said bye and hang up.
Storm jumped to the bed and put her face in the pillow and scream, "what!"Allison shouts, Storm raised her head all calm, "they invited me to the ball and I have nothing to wear!"Storm putting on the puppy eyes, "wait hold up, who did?"Allison asked, then Storm told them everything.
"Well you have this really cute dress that you bought last time you came here!"Allison said, "the paige one?"Storm asked, "ohh the paige will show up your eye color"Lydia said, Storm went to grab it from the closet.
"Hold up, I didn't even decided that I even want to go!?"She asked, "shut up you want too"Allison smirked, Storm pushed her playfully. "So what should we do to your hair and your makeup?"Lydia said, "you guys are excited more than her, and she's the one that's going to meet her boyfriend"Malia said, "hey, he's not boyfriend!"Storm blushes a little, and all the girls smirked.
Storm went to take a shower and then Allison made her hair straight and push it back to show off her face, Lydia helped her with makeup, Storm wanted a simple makeup but she end up fights with Lydia who wanted it to be a smokie look.
It was around 6p.m and Storm was just finished putting on the dress. She looked like a long lost Romanian princess.

After Allison took the picture, Storm took the Uber and went straight to the Avengers headquarter.
The gateman asked for her name and she said, "Storm Mikaelson", then the gateman let her in and the she was walking to the entrance thinking about what will happen?.
What will actually happen when she enter the ball? Will Bucky be pleased that she's here, because after all he didn't invite her?
