Mark was laying in his room, curled up under the blankets, quietly sobbing and sniffling. He hadn't taken his medicine that morning and had trouble staying happy, causing him to doubt himself.
The skeleton had closed his door, pull his window shades shut, and closed himself in his room alone.

Palette, who hadn't seen Mark all morning through afternoon was getting concerned. At first, he thought it was best to leave Mark alone and not bother him incase he wasn't in the mood, but it didn't last too long before Palette decided to check up on his husband.
Once he got upstairs, Palette hesitated before knocking on Mark's door. (they are married, but when I say "Mark's room" I'm referring to where Mark does his work, hobbies and such-)

Mark heard a knock at the door, and immediately he started thinking of excuses of why not to open the door. He knew it was Palette at the door, but he didn't want to worry his lover, so he acted as though he hadn't heard the knock.

Palette waited a few minutes... nothing...
He knocked again, waited a few minutes... still nothing...
"Marky? Bubble boy, I know you're in there... is everything alright?" Palette spoke through the door. Alas, Palette wasn't very patient and wanted to open the door and just go in. The door didn't have a lock, but Palette wanted to respect Mark's privacy, just incase everything was "ay-okay."

He felt awful not answering Palette, it didn't help the situation whatsoever. Mark felt like the worst husband in the world, and started to cry more.
It was then that Palette turned the door knob, peeking his head in to see Mark buried under the sheets.
The tall skeleton made his way over to the small bed that Mark had been laying on and sat at the end of the bed.
"Marky, tell me... what's wrong baby?" Palette was using his soft voice, it always made Mark feel calmer, and eventually Mark was able to catch his breath and quit crying for a bit.
