He holds his hands in front of the fire, letting them warm up by the flames.
Mark sat close to the fireplace with hot cocoa filled with marshmallows melting quickly inside the mug.

"Hey bubble boy, howzzit goin'?" Palette asked, sitting next to Mark with two cookies.

   "Mmmm... "

"Wow, so descriptive and poetic-" Palette commented sarcastically, but with a tone so that Mark wouldn't think he was seriously upset.

The starry-eyed skeleton handed his husband one of the cookies he had, then took a bite out of his own.
Mark takes the cookie, after pulling his hands away from the fire, and dunked his cookie in the hot cocoa that was next to him.

"If I'm being honest, it's actually better now that you're here. As cheesy as it sounds...." he finally replies with a chuckle.

Mark layer his head on Palette's shoulder, taking another bite of his cookie.

" Well... you are a cheese ball, Marky~" Palette added, grinning a bit.

Mark raised his head up, turning to face Palette. "Hey! I never said you could agree with me, jerk!" exclaimed Mark.
Palette turned to look at Mark, smiling as he did so, then quickly missed Mark on the lips(?).

   Mark's face flushed.
"That doesn't mean I'll forgive you..." he mumbled.

"I know, I love you though." Palette said in response.

" I love you too.... " Mark answered, laying his head back on Palette's shoulder and looking at the fire.
