"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" Everyone finished the song. Y/N smiled widely and blew out the candles,but for some reason the one with the number '11' didn't go out. 'A trick candle!' Y/N thought as she puffed her cheeks out in annoyness,her dad John laughing with a camera in his hand as she did so. "Come on try again!" Y/N dad said with an encouraging smile.

Y/N looked at her dad and back at the cake giving a determined look on her face,and she tried again. She tried again and again each one getting stronger but it never went out,this went on for a while. She tried again but nothing work. She looked at her parents,John and Emily,giving them a small frown. "Hey it's ok! at least you tried!" Her mom Emily chirped with a smile picking her up and putting her on her (Emily) own lap making Y/N smile herself.

Her smile suddenly turn into giggles as she saw all the kids trying to blow out the candle for her,but all of them only failing. John turned off the camera and put it down on the sofa,pushing the kids away from the candle,seeing they were teaming up. Y/N was confused intill her dad said something "Now let the man do it!" Y/N smile came back wider than before seeing her dad happy,John was always the funny and courage type but of course sometimes he likes to brag about himself.

Sometimes he even cheer for himself too. But that didn't matter right now cause all eyes where on John,he gave a determined smile just like Y/N did,inhaled all the air he could then closing his mouth making sure no air came out. And finally he blew it and the candle disappeared. Everyone and himself thought he did it and started cheering even Y/N,"thank you! thank you!" John yelled but his wife only smirked. John looked back at the candle and looked at his victory "HAH!-" he got cut off by the candle reappearing.

Key word 'thought'. Everyone (even his wife) howled in laughter as John looked at the still lit candle in disbelief with his jaw open,and little did they know little miss Y/N was recording the whole thing. Emily sat Y/N on the couch and went over to her husband John then lift up his jawn only for it to open again. Emily giggle and licked both her fingers,she went by the candle and putted her fingers on it making the fire go completely. (If you get what i mean-)

Everyone cheered for Y/N mom and ran to the cake. "Wait!" Everyone stopped "we all know birthday girl gets the first slice!" She said pointing to Y/N who was sitting on the couch. Y/N got up and went to the cake smiling happily,her mom went to go get the plates and a knife. Y/n mom came back with the plates and sat it down,she grabbed the knife and started cutting a piece of cake for the birthday girl.

After cutting the slice and perfectly putting it on the plate she gave it to Y/N,everyone looked at her waiting for to try it. Then finally she took a bite of the cake and smiled giving everyone a thumbs up. Everyone cheered again and ran to the cake,and soon Y/N mom and dad was giving the kids cake and ice-cream.

Everything was going great,everyone was happy and things was going great. Intill one kid decide to grab a candle that's lit while everyone wasn't looking. "HEY GUYS LOOK!" The kid yelled intill everyone looked,and as soon as they did they all gasped. Y/N ran to the boy "h-hey that's dangerous!" Y/N finally talked, "w-what?" The boy dropped the candle in shock noticing he grabbed something dangerous.

Everyone tried to step on it but it didn't went out,and then the whole house was on fire. Everyone screaming running for their life,you know being clitche.

Emily and John got all the kids in the house,forgetting Y/N their own daughters. Y/N was dizzy but managed to grab the phone calling 911 and basically being the normal one. "911 what's your emergency?" Y/N heard through the phone "MS! MY PARENTS HOUSE IS IN FIRE!" Y/N said quickly,trying not to pass out. "Kid get out of the house,what's your address?-" the police was interrupted by a thump,Y/N passed out.

Y/N vision was slowly came back but going in and out,the only thing she saw was red and blue lights before everything went black again.

(TIMESKIP)

Y/N fully woke up and looked at her arms and hands first,only to see it was wrap in bandages. She then looked over to her left to see her parents talking to a nurse "Mom?" Y/N asked her voice raspy and hoarse,her parents quickly turned around from the sudden and familiar voice. "My baby ok!" Y/N mom was the first one to run to daughter and hug her soon after her dad doing the same,Y/N hugged her parents confused but the only thing she could make out of it was that something bad happend,and she was right. Y/N and her parents soon got out of the hospital,Y/N was still shocked after seeing the scars on her face and being reminded what had happened.

The three of them had to find a new home but for right now Y/N would live with her grandparents. Her family mebers supported Y/N all the way,but it would still take long for the whole family to forgive Emily and John considering they forget their own child.

It's been three years since that happened and Y/N was now 14 years old,she had been giving a mask to hide the scars on her face and it fitted perfectly. Y/N parents had not been forgiven and and eventually both of them got a divorced,sending Emily into a depression state. Y/N has currently been helping her mother get through it,but soon enough they had the money to get live somewhere.

Y/N stayed silent during the ride,having nothing to do as her mom was driving to a place called Addison Apartments,humming slightly. Y/N shrink into the seat slowly falling asleep.
