It is your second year anniversary with your incredible, flawless boyfriend jaden smith. From across the dining table, he offers you an adoring smile, his beyond perfect dimples appearing just at the corners of his plump pink lips. A waitress arrives at your table, boasting a welcoming smile upon her face. Her mouth opens, prepared to ask for your order, when her eyes flutter yet again over to Jaden and she gasps when she realizes exactly who he is. Jaden's hazel eyes meet briefly with yours and you begin uttering uncontrollable giggles.
"Y-You're Jaden smith," she breathes in complete disbelief. Color fades from her appealing face and she appears as though she is about to faint. In an attempt to steady her wobbling structure, you rest your hand upon one of her arms and Jaden rests his on her other. She immediately flinches away from his touch and says, "Oh, you mustn't touch me, Mr. Smith. I am covered in much grime and your hands don't deserve to withstand that kind of filth."
Jaden chuckles and rests his hands upon the table. "Alright then, love."
"Could I perhaps have your autograph?" the waitress inquires, her bright blue eyes wide with hope.
"I'll leave you one after my lovely girlfriend and I eat," Jaden replies, quite politely, before throwing at you an adoring glance. You offer a broad smile, though your cheeks begin to burn as you blush uncontrollably. "I promise."
"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!" she offers a subtle hop of her feet and her attention focuses upon me. "You're his girlfriend, right? My, you're mighty beautiful. May I take your order?"
"Why, thank you!" you say with much gratitude and appreciation. "You're quite gorgeous as well."
"Thank you, but I find it disrespectful to lie," laughs the waitress. Before you can protest, she asks, "Now, what would you like to eat, dear?"
Both you and Jaden give to her your desired meals. With a quick nod of her head, she disappears and you and Jaden are yet again alone.
"I love you," Jaden's deep voice rumbles with much admiration as his twinkling hazel eyes glare into yours. "I don't know what I'd do without you, love."
"I love you, too, Jaden. Words cannot describe how much I love you-I am so lucky to have you," you reply, tears that of happiness burning abundantly at your eyes.
"No, I don't think that's true." Jaden says, positioning his chair so that he sits directly next to you. The heat of his body caresses your cheeks and, unable to resist the temptation, you rest your head upon his shoulder. "I think it is me that is lucky to have you, love, not the other way around, which is why I wanted to...erm...I don't know-'finalize' our relationship, I suppose?"
"What are you talking about, Jaden ?" you say, utterly confused.
Jaden gently frees his shoulder from your head and kneels to the ground upon one knee. Withdrawing from his tuxedo jacket is a small, black box. You manage to utter a gasp as warm tears that of disbelief and gratitude begin to warm your cheeks. Jaden offers a bit of a smile as he opens the lid, revealing to your eyes a brilliant diamond ring.
"Love, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Ever since I met you, it seems as though my life has changed. On my dreariest of days, you were there to cheer me up. If I didn't meet you, I don't know where'd I be. I don't think it is possible that I could live without you-which leads me to my next question...Would you do the honors of becoming my beautiful wife?"
"Yes!" you need not to hesitate one bit before you fling yourself into his awaiting arms. Your fingers tangle into his flawless curly locks of hair as your lips dance gently with his in a passionate kiss. Jaden utters a chuckle as he gingerly removes his lips from yours and glares into your eyes, his eyes shining brilliantly with pure happiness.
"I love you, babe," he whispers, removing the ring from the box and sliding it gently over your finger. A tear escapes his eye as his adoring smile grows broader.
"I love you too, Jaden," you sniff, returning to him the same grin. Jaden begins to lean in for another kiss when a sudden gunshot sounds, followed by deafening screams that of horror.
"Quick, under the table!" Jaden says, shoving you beneath the table. Terrified for his well-being, you clutch at his arm and attempt to drag him under with you when he snatches himself from your grasp. Tears-not ones of joy, this time, but of fear-burn at his hazel eyes.
"Jaden," you plead.
A series of gunshots sound, silencing at least half the screams.
Jaden lifts a gentle finger to his lips, thus warning you to be quiet. "I can't," he whispers simply. "I can't hide with you. I must protect you-make sure that you remain safe."
"Jaden! No! That's nonsense!" your voice is barely audible through the next round of gunfire. You reach yet again for Jaden's arm, though he hastily yanks it from your grasp and moves forward a bit-just out of your reach.
All of the screams have been silenced-the only victims left alive at this point are you and Jaden. Appearing within your field of vision are too large feet. "Ahh,"says a very masculine voice. "You're Jaden smith, aren't you? That gay fellow from that famous, untalented rapper , eh?We can't have people like you populating our world." Your body offers the slightest of a jump as a single gunshot is fired and Jaden's body collapses to the ground next to you, dead, blood pooling out of his bullet wound.
Angered and hurt, a scream seeps through your throat and you scramble from beneath the table. With as much strength as you can manage, you tackle the serial killer and conveniently knock him into the wall. He only merely laughs and pushes the gun into your lower abdomen. "Good-bye sweetheart," he says, and pulls the trigger.
Your legs crumple beneath you and you find yourself lying next to Jaden. Pain overwhelms your body and, bawling from both the agony of your wound and Jaden's death, you curl into his body. The murderer decides it best to allow you to suffer and mourn before dying, so instead of further wounding you, he simply leaves.
It seems to be quite the long time before police and ambulances arrive. By then, you are barely grasping on to life. Medics scurry busily about the bodies,in desperate search for somebody alive. They stumble upon you and hurry you out to an ambulance. Though you are just about ready to give up on life, you see a faint figure of which belongs to Jaden.
"Don't give up love," he pleads. "Please don't give up. Live, babe, live for me. Don't give up just because I'm not there. I'll always be here for you love-forever and always. I love you so much-to infinity and beyond, just don't give up. Stay alive...for...me..." His figure is suddenly wisped away by the wind.
You manage a tear and utter, "Jaden, don't leave me!" Though it is too late. His last words burning into your brain, you lose consciousness. You manage to remain alive-for the sole purpose of Jaden. When you arrive to your flat that you once shared with Jaden, tears sting at your eyes and you begin to wonder if you should have indeed quit trying on life but then, in the midst of your swirling pained thoughts, whispers a deep voice, "Don't give up, love. I'm here and I love you-forever and always."
