~Chapter 4~ One Day

"I'm serious!" currently, Eraser was explaining what happened at the alley earlier that day. "the kid utterly destroyed the two rapist but then he told me he's a villain and- his name... to 'spread the word' or something."

Everyone was deep in thought, no way would they believe a kid could be a villain.

"Then what is his villain nam-"

Before they could continue further into the conversation, Midnight shushed them, "everyone please come over here... the news..." her breath was a bit shaky, whatever it was the heroes in the room could feel threat.

"New villain in sight. Do Not Engage. There were reports of an unknown hooded villain roaming around city, please be careful going out at night. If seen, immediately contact police. Kill rate: ten. His first appearance was last night yet already has a high kill rate, currently set as an A-ranked villain. Once again, contact police if you see him, and Do Not Engage."

It played a tiny clip of a small boy emerged from the shadows and smiled at a hidden camera, he brought up his knife and licked the blood away.

"Seems like Eraser was right huh... a kid who had fell into the path of villainy..." Snipe commented on the report they'd been given.

"Well in that case we just have to CRUSH him, get outta my way, I'm heading out now." Endeavour said, instantly went out of the room. You couldn't really blame him though, it's his nature... except you could.

"I wonder who influenced the kid to do such thing..." Nezu wondered to himself, but a few other heroes also started to-

"I AM HERE- ENTERING THE ROOM LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!"

Everyone gave out a 'what the fuck' expression... or shocked expression.

All Might's smile faded when his associates explained the situation to him, he wasn't happy about it. That's because he knew All for One was behind it... but what he didn't know was- he himself was also one of the people that had made Deku's life a trash. He was the one who made Deku walk this dark path.

"We have to bring this child back, we cannot let him continue this track. We can still save him now, it's not too late." All Might said as he paced around the room looking very pissed.

Everyone nodded and formulated a way to 'save' this boy.

But even though with a plan, none of the heroes ever managed to catch him. Deku has been evading every hero thus far. No matter how fast the heroes were, they were never a match to him. Deku would just duck through a portal and disappeared like he was never there.

One time, he intentionally provoked the heroes by entering their base, he made a scene there. Used Endeavour's fire, enlightening the place. Then used Power Loader's Iron Claws to thrash the whole building.

Very soon, a year passed. Heroes had basically given up on saving this kid few months ago, they believed he has killed far too many to turn back. They should start considering him as a true villain.

And during that year, no matter how hard Deku tried, he couldn't succeed in mastering his Assault Mode. It frightened him a bit at the thought of killing the ones he cared for.

Deku's PoV

"Dabi, promise me you will bring me back if I went too far." I desperately tried to control this quirk, but it was too strong for me to handle.

"The power of a Joker..."

A voice ran through my head- an unwanted memory jogging its way back. I'd been trying so hard to forget my past yet...
