I stared in amazement. The academy was enormous. The green lawn was moist and thick with beautiful gardens and colorful flowers. In the middle of the yard was a huge fountain spraying water in little layers like a birthday cake. The water was clear, the fountain made of fine white quartz. There was a big building just beyond the gardens. It had thin white columns holding it up, and icy white walls. Above the door, in thick gold letters, it said:
STUDENT DORMITORY
On the other side of the gardens, there was a smaller cabin with dark logs and a cherry red roof. Next to that, was a long red building that said in small and thin black letters:
MESS HALL
in the middle there was the biggest building of all. It had big white walls, a huge white ceiling, and giant clear windows. Before I read any sign, I knew what this was. The school. "That cabin is the staff dorm. You can read everything else." Jeremy said. We strode into the student dormitory. There were white doors on both sides of the building. The red carpet shone out against the white. We walked for a while, and then came to a door labeled #23. We walked in. It was beautiful with a big master bed, high def tv, and a big crystal chandelier hanging down. Across from the bed was another with the same tv. Sitting on that bed was a girl with curly red hair. She had dark green eyes and pale skin. She was really pretty. "Allie, this your new roommate." With that, Jeremy left. "Hey. What's your name?" Allie asked me. "Its the only change you have." She said. "I'm..." I didn't really know who I was. Natalee was not me anymore. I was somebody new. Flipping to a new chapter in my life. "I'm Paige." I tell her. "Cool." She said. "So what can you do?" I ask. She silently formed a small flame, and made it grow bigger and brighter. "You?" She asked. I slowly disappeared. "Awesome! Can you do it whenever you want?" She said with excitement. "Yeah, except when I'm sleeping. I turn invisible anyway." I explained. We talked and watched tv for a while, laughing at the humorous ones. Finally we settled down and slept. My dreams were good. I dreamt of this school, and Allie. I dreamt of us being friends. My first friend. My only friend. But my dreams told me soon that would change. I believed them. They were my dreams.
