Initially, Cha Eunwoo should be dead right now.

But he is not, and he's not really sure that is something he should be thankful of.

The Bad Place.

Ignorance was bliss, indeed.

He looks in the mirror. His eyes are bloodshot, crowned with dark circles and skin bumps. He doesn't look like himself anymore, he looks like a living ghost, a less attractive husk of what he used to be a week ago. He looked like... dare he say it... a college student.

A college student.

His breath hitches as he takes one long glance at the mirror.

This was not Cha Sang Suk's golden boy, not the future heir of the CSS group, not his cool, sensitive, beautiful façade. This, in itself, is some random guy someone picked up on the street in branded night clothing and moisturised skin- just awful.

And what was his resolution to this whole thing?

Fists against his marble counter, warm water running from his faucet, a lavender scent from his newly lit candle, he focuses on his eyes.

He's going to get in the good place. Even if he has to be good first before he does.

Wretched.

Eunwoo's mom used to be a psychologist, so it only seemed logical that the first thing he should advocate for was mental health

Eunwoo's mom used to be a psychologist, so it only seemed logical that the first thing he should advocate for was mental health. So, the 5 am mist blowing against his cheeks, palms clasped around a leather steering wheel, he goes to the closest mental institution in his area.

And from then on he meets Kim Taehyung, or, as everyone from the institution calls him, V.

Taehyung was handsome, two years older than Eunwoo. He had a cheeky smile atop smooth skin complementing his thick, bushy eyebrows-- above it was a bleeding, bruised forehead. He glowed under the institution's faint lighting, arms wrapped around a white pillow. He looked more like an innocent child than the label that was given to him.
