I dropped my bike and ran to the side of the bakery, I remember what Marinette's mom. She used to tell me and Marinette when the bakery is full we should run to the back door. there will be a back door key it's usually under the welcome mat. I grabbed a hold of the side of the carpet and looked under "Yes! Found it" I stood up and opened the door slowly "Marinette?" I whispered "Mari-Berry?" I repeated her name but still no answer. she must be upstairs. I closed the door behind me and made my way upstairs, she wasn't in the living room? Or kitchen. Must be in her room, I turn my head and smelled The aroma of cookies "Don't do it Luka...Don't do it your friend needs you" He whispered to himself. Come on luka you're wasting time. Luka ran another stair way and saw three doors he turned his head to the left and grab the knob, he slowly creek the door
He looked at her with a frown. She was bawling her eyes out "I-I just don't understand" She whimpered, I walked over to her and hugged her.we sat there in each others arms....I felt her pain, of rejection,of not being notice. But it's not about me "Shh it's okay Marinette. Don't stress over him" I mumbled in her hair "It's hard not to when he's stuck in your mind 24 seven, and he's even stuck on your walls" I patted her head, "Marinette your heart is sad maybe you just need to lay back" I said helping her up "The thing is I don't want to be alone" She whipped, she looked up at me
under her eyes were red, she looked tired "That's why I'm here, I-I'm pretty sure Nino is joining us" I said said trying to brighten up the mood " when did you plan this? W-why didn't you ask me or even text me" she said laying on her lounge chair " I did text you?" I said, she grabbed her phone from her stand
I laid her hand down "I-It doesn't matter, just know that your not alone today" she nodded her head "I'm hungry" She whispered "Me too" I said, she got up and grabbed my hand "I think my parents left me cookies" she looked at me and I smiled "Oh woah, I love your moms cookies" Finally the taste of those scrumptious cookies "Let's go Cookie Monster" she said before giggling, I chuckled at her joke and walked with her hand in hand downstairs
While walking I looked at her,Why would someone break your little heart...I promise this will not happen again. "Uuhh Luka?" She asked "Huh? Oh look at that we are downstairs" I said smiling "Stop stalling and let's feast" I shook my head and agreed with her. She's feeling much better I thought "Here's a cookie for you and a cookie for m-" before Marinette could eat her cookie the door slammed open "I-IM HERE DUDETTE NO NEED TO CRY,OH AND DID YOU NOTICE THAT BIG CR-"I looked at nino with a straight face "Oh Heh...No need to yell?" nino asked "It's okay Nino we were just about to eat cookies" Marinette said closing the door behind him "Sugar or chocolate?" nino asked "Just eat pick one" I said pushing the plate in his face "So mean" Nino pouted, Marinette laughed at me and Nino which kinda made me blush
"Hey is Little Luka blushing at my dudette" Nino asked, I turned in surprise and frowned "N-No"

The whole table was quiet at the time "So this is rejection" Nino said, I looked over at Him and punched his arm "OUCH!" He yelled "I was trying to brighten up the mood...jeez" Nino said holding his new injury, I rolled my eyes and looked up at Marinette "So tell me mari-berry what did he say to you?" I asked, she twirled her cookie in her mouth and started talking, she told me how shy she was, which made me smile a bit,she told me how she was so excited and proud of herself but soon in the conversation her confidence went down, but that's not it, she told him how she would only be a friend. I looked at Nino and Nino looked at me "M-Maybe you need a upgrade" I said "A what now?" She asked picking up her soggy cookie. Nino looked at Marinette "I cant believe I'm saying this but someone who can beat Adrien" Marinette looked shocked "S-Someone who can beat Adrien? That's going to take a Miracle" Marinette took a bite out of her cookie and sighed "Woah slow you're roll, don't doubt it now" I said, she looked at me and Nino "Okay Luka how can someone beat Adrien" she asked "Well someone who is charming...And...And" I looked on Nino for more examples "O-Oh someone who is wayyy more charming, trust worthy, smart, Good with his words and the dude needs to make you feel those butterflies in your tummy" Nino said taking a bite out his cookie also *Buzz* Nino looked at his phone on the table and Picked it up, he huffed and looked at me and Marinette "I have to go dudes my mom is making lasagna for dinner. Can't miss it " he said smiling. "Well see ya Nino" Marinette said "Ya bye" I said back, the back door slammed and me and Marinette flinched "He was in a hurry" I said "I know" she said, "Hey Luka, if you don't mind can you tell me what you texted me" I nodded "I was going to talk about the crowed" she looked at me "Well ya see, I posted the song we made this Moring, and it kinda got viral" I said smiling "T-That's great" she hugged me, and I hugged her back "Well we should head upstairs and chill "Y-Yea" I said smiling

"Man you really did like Adrien" I said looking around " don't look to surprise you seen my bedroom before" Marinette yawned "How about we redecorate?" I asked "At this time?" She asked "Well ya" I said " look around, that's all we have to work with. Where am I going to throw away these posters and magazines" She asked " Oh and my collage" she added "In the dumpster"..... "At the dumpster near the Agreste mansion" Marinette looked at me in shock "Don't look at me, let's get to working" she agreed and we began with the collage first— "What a work out" I said, she giggled and finally picked up the last thing of Adrien's. But she stared at it, it was a bracelet? I don't understand what was so special about it it was just yellow, blue and a dark blue...It looked familiar to the same one Marinette had, she opened her drawer and closed it immediately. She turned around and pulled her hair back "All done" she said smiling
"Well let's go Blue-berry" I said "Hmm, if I'm the blue-berry then you are the...Hmm....Luckily charm" she said smiling. lucky charm? I like that. "Let's go before you're lucky charm runs out of energy" I said grabbing a few boxes "As if" she said giggling
