15. The End

i sat there with tears streaming down my face. My love is dead. They tried to revive him but, it was to late, i was to late. i held hope in my hands. She was asleep. Why is this happening, my life has been a giant screw up. i lost my brother, then my dad, then my sister , then Hazel , then my mom , then Asher and possibly Harper. i felt actually numb. really numb. the police came over to me.
P: do you have anyone to call
A: n- no
P: are you sure
A: oh i could call my sister
P: what about your mom or dad
A: no
P: okay i'll bring a -
A: i don't wanna call her
P: you sure
A: yes, any word on Harper
P: No, i'm sorry
i nodded and looked at hope trying to keep her asleep. a tear hit her face and i just didn't know what else to feel. Pain. Hurt. Alone. Scared. I just felt Numb. i don't wanna feel like this, it's worse then feeling sad.
P: Mam we need to talk
i went into the intarrigation room.
P: we need to know what's going on
A: You need to know what ?
P: Did you want him dead
A: Excuse me ?! NO. He was the love of my life. My daughters father. I love him, loved him
P: we found his killer
A: who was it
P: Dylan Sanchez , he killed
A: my brother i remember
P: do you know him
A: no, not until trial
i sniffled
P: We might have a lead on your daughter, i gotta go
A: wait what
i waited for over an hour, the officer came back in.
P: the lead wasn't a lead, it wasn't true
A: okay im gonna try to sleep.

Hopes POV
i'm 10 now and my sister was never found. My mom tries her hardest to keep living after loosing my dad but to be honest i don't think she's gonna make it. i have accepted that, i did a while ago. I think she will make it at least another 3 years, but i think when i'm 12 or 13 i'm gonna loose her. I try everything to help but i know it's hard for her. I go to school everyday and i work really hard. I wanna be a doctor. i wish i knew my dad, and i wish i knew my sisters but life is messed up, but i know i can make it.
