CHAPTER TEN » ❝ You can love someone
so much...But you can never love people
as much as you can miss them...❞HOPE ANDREA MIKAELSON has been fighting with everything within her to just merely survive for far too long. Over Hope's painful fight she had had many things stolen from her; small simple things like family game nights, the rather annoying family dinners, prom, sweet sixteens, and what a simple normal teenage girl had the great pleasure of worrying about weren't even things that were remotely on her radar. Hope never get the chance to just have to worry about if she got straight As, perfect attendance, her drivers license, if she got the perfect dress for some stupid school dance that Lizzie would no doubtably take way too serious, or if she managed to get the perfect fairytale like relationship with her two gorgeous blonde soulmates. No, destiny had much darker plans in mind for the Mikaelson tribrid. Hope always had to fight tooth and nail with fate just so it would allow her to merely exist.
But, with her painful existence came all of the death that just followed her around like a dark raincloud; death had got it grimy little hands on almost every member of her family, all besides her two aunts. Two aunts who no longer remember that Hope had ever even existed. This was due to the quite cruel price Hopes had to pay. A sinister price that was made in order to secure the safety of both of her beautiful soulmates, and all of her friends. The price for the said safety was essentially her own existence. Protect all of theirs for her own; it sadly seemed to painfully obvious what she had to do. Hope had no other choice them to jump into the pits of the terrifying horrors of the unknown, in order to prevent even more chaos and death from spilling out.
From day one, everything in the pit was so utterly stagnant. Everything was just inactive. Just there. And, there was nothing there. It was just big pit of pure darkness and loneliness. The air had this stiffness and unusual coldness to it. It was also filled with mass amount of uneasiness; there was no real way to start to even describe or explain it. It just felt so incredibly wrong in almost every sense imaginable. It seemed as the whole world was long past the brim, and has long been spilling out all of it's unusual dead silences. Silence that would let you be able to hear a pin drop across three football fields. It was just cold and so ever silent; the silence was by far the worst part of her imprisonment. She could bare torture by losing her sight to darkness, but Hope couldn't even begin to bare all of the silence. She was just so used to all of the constant noise; noises like Lizzie casting some spell, Rikki's loud lively laughs after she gave a really sarcastic remark, and especially, Hope just missed both Lizzie's and Rikki's just talking about literally anything and everything.
It seemed like the pit was void of any sort of life; which as incredibly wrong given all the stories about Malivore eating all sorts of people and supernatural begins. Long last, Hope Mikaelson was all alone in her newly found world. She officially had no one. No grandparents, no parents in general, no soulmates, and definitely no friends. She had no one. Hope was living her worst fear, if said fears were on crack. She was in the creepy isolation of darkness and all seemed too hopeless for her as the minutes rolled by, they turned into hours, and eventually they turned into days, weeks even, and then it got to the point that weeks were turning into mouths. Multiple mouths of hell. Mouths of her suffering though pure agonizing loneliness. Mouths of her just longing to have one or preferably both of her soulmates holding her. But, unfortunately, she never got it. She just got a lot of darkness and loneliness.
Then, all too suddenly, out of complete nowhere, Hope's cruel world just implode with a vast world wind of sounds, light, and life; everything was very overwhelming, and it was like the whole world's crimping weight came crashing down on to her very petite body. Without any kind of warning, the light of dawn pierced into her sensitive dark hazel colored eyes causing her to squint her eyes, and then hiss in pain. She clenched her jaw tightly as a weave of pain shook violently throughout her entire body. She honestly didn't know what the name of hell was going on. One mere second she's laying on the ground and starring up into the darkness, and then the next minute, she getting spit out like some kind of utterly disgusting food.
