[Todoroki P.O.V]
About 5 minutes had passed and Kaminari had fallen asleep in my lap. I was about to text Izuku when I saw a purple hue creep into the corner of my eye. I turned, curious to see what it was when my eyes landed on Shinso waking with Izuku, their arms intertwined. My mouth slightly opened as I saw the sight I'd rather not.

I couldn't move till Kaminari slightly tugged on my shirt, signalling that he was waking up. I brushed through his hair shocked at how soft it was. I stopped and took a good look to admire how precious he was. I loved Izuku but I had to admit, at that moment Kaminari was the cutest being alive.

His eyes fluttered open as he quietly yawned. "Goodmorning" I said locking eyes with him. He obviously blushed. "Uhhh... Todoroki?!" He said looking confused as to why he was huddled in my lap. "We were playing truth or dare and you fell asleep in my lap, you'll probably remember the rest." I explained to him. he calmed down, taking in what I said and sighing in relief.

"Midoriya and Shinso are here, wanna say hi to them?" Kaminari looked up at me, although he tried to hide it, I could see in his eyes that he was upset about something. "Yeah that's fine with me" He said as he cracked a smile.

[Kaminari P.O.V]
Of course, after all of that he'd still only think of Midoriya. I mean how could I ever think I'd be good enough for him. He's arguably the most powerful person in our class, hell, probably even all of UA, so what in the world made me think he'd ever love someone like me.

I cracked a forced smile at him, closing my eyes as a way to hide the pain I knew I'd otherwise show. Although I knew he would never return the same feelings, as long as he was happy I'd be satisfied.

As Todoroki and I walked over to Izuku and Shinso I felt as though my heart had been ripped out of my chest and stabbed a thousand times. I was walking over with the one person I loved to give him up for his happiness.

"Hey Izu" He said, it was obvious in his voice that Todoroki had immediately become happier as soon as he talked to Izuku. 'Damn it, why couldn't I do the same for him?' I thought as I zoned out of the conversation, knowing that if I left in that moment no one would notice. What pushed me to stay? Spite? Jealousy? Rage? It didn't matter. I'd still feel empty no matter what it was.

A light tapping on the side of my right shoulder had caught my conscious. "Long time no see, I guess" Shinso said as his face gave into an awkward smile. "Yeah" I playfully laughed, we used to be kinda close but somehow ended up drifting apart. "Do you wanna go somewhere else and catch up" I stared at him straight in his restless eyes, unsure of why. He was masking his thoughts through his glazed look. It was the first time I noticed how truely mystical his eyes were. The little flecks of light like shooting stars on a clear summer night. The light greyish violet, like fog in an enchanted forest. The purple hues, like an ocean of secrets that I wanted, no, needed to explore. His eyes told a story like none I'd read before, I was longing to know so much more.

I stopped my thoughts realizing I had stared a little too long. "Sorry I got lost." Fuck why does this always happen.

He laughed. Not a fake one to ease the tension but a genuine, real laugh. I blushed, about to get defensive till he started to speak again. "Well I'm gonna ditch these bimbos, they're both so oblivious to eachother's feelings and it's getting annoying, you coming with or-" Before I could even catch myself, I cut him off, blurting out a quick but loud "Yeah sure!" He laughed again as we walked away towards a bench.

As we made it to the bench I saw that it was surrounded by all different types of flowers, but the ones that caught my eye were the purple lilacs. I remember they had an important meaning but I forgot what it was.

I suddenly noticed something and went closer to Shinso, grabbing his hand. I picked a flower and showed it to him. "Look it's just like you!" I exclaimed, slightly scared that I might've offended him by saying that. He raised a brow and joyfully sighed, a small peaceful smile displayed on his face. "How so?" He said, intrigued in whatever I was about to say. "Well it's purple like your hair, pretty like your eyes and amazing like you"

I waited for a reaction but there was none. 'Did I break him?' I thought for a second before he turned his gaze away and mumbled.

"That's exactly what you said last
time.."

✨A/n: Okay so I might not be updating this for a while, like maybe 2 weeks since school's starting in a few days. I won't be awake when I usually would be, which means I've gotta find time elsewhere and I'm absolutely crap at adjusting to stuff. Im sorry it's taking forever for the story to progress, I'll try getting this current situation thingo finished withing the next 2 parts.
