"So it's really going to happen"
The excitement was in the air. Every single staff and my members stood beside our producer Teddy, who sat in front of his Computer. We all waited for this one moment and we made sure to make it special. He was about to upload our debut songs. It was a nerve-wrecking moment for all of us especially for me and my members. Since it meant for us that we are now debuting as idols.
"Just five minutes till it's 6pm. Just a couple of minutes before our debut.", I heard Jennie say. She was talking to herself and nervously played with her thumbs. She was despratly looking down to the computer. Rosè was almost crying, but it looks like she was keeping herself from it. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and patted her head gently, so she could calm down. I felt a knot in my stomach and I also wanted to shed tears, but I took my last power to stop myself from doing so.
"So it's time, huh?", Jisoo laughed off. Usually she would joke around to calm us down, but I could see her hands as well as her knees shaking. I streched my other arm out for Jisoo. She accepted my offer and placed my arm around her shoulders and embraced her arms around my waist. Jennie who stood beside Teddy saw us and decided to join our grouphug for a last conversation before our debut. So we stood there in a circle. Facing each and everyone of us. Jisoo cheered us up. Jennie repeatedly told us that we can do it, Rosè nodded to everything they said and I just stood there with a big smile. The last minutes felt like hours and I looked back to my manager, who showed us his timer.
"One minute left.", he said proudly.
Those words made my stomach turn even more. I even began to sweat. Jisoos legs also started to tremble even more.
"We can do it!", Rosè suddenly screamed out loud. She was now really about to cry.
And then the moment happend. The clock has struck 6pm. Everyone looked at Teddy who uploaded the music.
"We made it!!!", I screamed out of relieve. The staff members turned the lights off and lit up some sparklers for us. As well did they prepare a cake for us.
"Congratulations for your debut, Blackpink!", did a staff member said out loud. Everyone started to clap and handed the cake out to Jisoo. The members and me were stunned and it seems like we all had to realized that it happend. We stood in front of the cake and prayed our wishes before we blowed out the candles together.
After we did, did Rosè burst out into tears. She was letting out all her tears she was holding in. She immediately ran into my arms, looking for comfort. However I couldn't give her the comfort she was looking for, since I also began to cry. Jennie ran to Jisoo and started to cry. Jisoo was smiling. Her lips trembled and she was trying really hard not to cry infront of us. But did her emotions overran her and she started to shed some tears.
"We finally debuted", she said.
"We made it.", she said again and even more tears run down her cheeks. This time did her her legs however lost their last energy and she fell on the ground. Jennie who was in her arms fell with her.
Rosè and me went to Jisoo and Jennie and joined their hug on the ground.
"We are officially Blackpink", I said.
