~ Then Pietro walked in~
Neither of them seemed to notice the speedsters presence. However, this being normal occurrence for Pietro, or really anyone when it came to Rylan, he didn't much seem to notice the cause of her ignorance.
"Hey Rylan- Oh." That is, until he tried to talk to her. That's when he noticed Hades. Both Rylan and Hades had finally noticed the presence of the speeder, who, himself, didn't seem too pleased at the presence of the ruler of the underworld. Not that he would say anything. At least, not around Rylan anyways.
"What?" Hades had asked, not too happy about being interrupted. Rylan, on the other hand didn't seem to care too much about the intrusion.
"Nothing. You're obviously busy." Pietro said, in a kind of monotone way. He knew that it didn't do well to even try and ask Rylan for something when Hades was around. However, maybe this time was different.
"Nah, whatcha need buddy?" Rylan had asked him with a smile, seeming to be genuinely interested on why he had come to see her. Hades, on the other hand, didn't seem to pleased that Rylans attention had been bought elsewhere. He decided to kiss her cheek in a attempt to regain her attention but all he received was a giggle.
"Well-" Pietro began, choosing his words carefully in order to gain the right response from his emotionally dead friend. "I need your help." He had finally said after a few minutes. He had seemed to gain the right reaction and Rylan seemed to sit up, having her attention on her friend.
"Okay-" she began. Making sure her tone came across and either interested or at least concerned for the needs of the speedster. "For what?" Hades, however, still trying to regain the attention of his girlfriend, had decided to pull her into a hug. Rylan, not wanted to seem ignorant for once, put her arm around him in a sort of comfort.
"Well, someone, not saying who, may have been trying to use the portal..." Pietro had said with what seemed to be caution. He knew that Rylan had warned countless times to not use the portal without her. That it was dangerous if not used properly.
"Portal?" Hades had said in what seemed to be confusion. He knew full well however, exactly what Pietro was talking about. Rylan, however well see prided herself on catching lies and deceptions, did not seem to catch this one. Probably due to her wondering over who and why someone had used the portal and if anyone was hurt.
"Multiverse portal. And I thought I told you not to use it without me?" Rylan had said, accusingly. She had meant to come across concerned but that just didn't seem to work for her in any shape or form.
"It wasn't me!" Pietro had argued back defensively. He wasn't lying. It was indeed not him that had used the portal without Rylan's acknowledgment. Rylan herself was not lying either when she warned of the dangers that would follow the improper use of the portal she made.
"Suspicious." Hades noted. Rylan on the other hand, didn't see it as suspicious. She knew how unlikely it would be for Pietro to be the one who used the portal.
"No, it wasn't him. If he was messing with it and got it wrong he would be floating in an abundance of space-time." She said matter of factually. She looked stressed.
"Oh wow." Hades stated. Rylans lack of emotion somehow surprised him. Somehow. Rylan seemed to have a lack of emotion in most things but this somehow surprised him.
"Exactly. With is why-" Rylan began monotoned.
"It was Loki." Pietro said. Cutting Rylan off.
