"Sorry?" Chan muttered in shock.

"Which was it – Afghanistan or Iraq?"

"Afghanistan. Sorry, how did you know...?" The older furrowed his brows radiating confusion.

"Ah, JB, coffee. Thank you." The boy taken the coffee with careful hands from the other gently.
"What happened to the hair gel?"

"It wasn't working for me." The other sighed.

"Really? I thought it was a big improvement. Your hairs too flat now." The fox like boy walked away to the other side of the lab table which was caked with stuff taking a sip of his drink.

" ..Okay." JB smiled and quickly dashed out the room.

"How do you feel about the violin?" The brunette asked packing up a few things here and there.

"I'm sorry, what?" The blonde said confused.

"I play the violin when I'm thinking. Sometimes I don't talk for days on end. Would that bother you? Potential flatmates should know the worst about each other. " He smiled at the doctor as he got his long black trench coat and scarf.

"Oh, you... you told him about me?" The older stuttered to Jaehyun who was smiling contently holding a test tube.

"Not a word." He chuckled.

"Then who said anything about flatmates?"

"I did. Told Jaehyun this morning that I must be a difficult guy to find a flatmate for. Now here he is just after lunch with an old friend, clearly just home from military service in Afghanistan. Wasn't that difficult a leap." He explained as he buttoned up his coat.

"How did you know about Afghanistan?"

"Got my eye on a nice little place in central London. Together we ought to be able to afford it. " The younger purposely ignored the question.
"We'll meet there tomorrow evening; seven o'clock. Sorry – gotta dash. I think I left my riding crop in the mortuary." He apologised wrapping his scarf around the collar of his coat.

"Is that it?" Chan chuckled.

"Is that what?"

"We've only just met and we're gonna go and look at a flat?"

"Problem?" The younger asked now looking confused.

"We don't know a thing about each other; I don't know where we're meeting; I don't even know your name." Chan huffed but instantly switched to a curious mood when the other started to smile.

"I know you're an Army doctor and you've been invalided home from Afghanistan. I know you've got a brother who's worried about you but you won't go to him for help because you don't approve of him – possibly because he's an alcoholic; more likely because he recently walked out on his wife. And I know that your therapist thinks your limp's psychosomatic – quite correctly, I'm afraid." He sighed glancing down at the stick in the others grasp.

"That's enough to be going on with, don't you think? The name's Yang Jeongin and the address is 221B Baker Street." He winked as he started to head out the door.
"Afternoon!" Jeongin waved to Jaehyun before disappearing behind the door.
