She was busy cleaning the living room when she heard a knock on the door.
[Your Name] immediately kept the feather duster she was holding and fixed herself before she made her way to the door, a series of knocks coming through again before she finally opened it. A spiky-haired man stood at the doorway, a shy smile on his face as she welcomed him inside her home. However, behind him stood the three idiots-- Takamura, Kimura, and Itagaki-- the older grinning widely, the junior lightweight scratching his nape, and the youngest looking anxious. The female gave her friend, Makunouchi Ippo, a questioning glance as the boxer tried to explain himself.
"I-I didn't bring them with me!" he exclaimed, voice panicky. [Your Name] raised an eyebrow at that, then looked at the other three. Meanwhile, Ippo glared at them as he continued his explanation. "I-I went here by myself. They-- they just followed me!"
"Heh, we're just curious," Kimura said to the guy, as his kouhai directed his glare at him. The older male then faced her, chcukling awkwardly. "Ya see, when we're in the showers earlier and he was changin' into his clothes, he looked all jittery and so we thought he was out fer a date. We were jus' wonderin', we had no idea. B-But it ain't me who told them ta follow 'im! It was Takamura-san."
"It's fine, though, right? [Your Name]-chan's friends wit' us, after all." then the tallest of them gave her a simper, a hint of mischief in his eyes. [Your Name] groaned upon seeing it, but she knew she can't stop them anymore. It's not like they'll go back home at this rate if she said so, right?
"Ugh, fine. Come on in." she growled at them, as the three excitedly stepped inside her house like kids on their first ever field trip. Ippo did the same, but in contrast to their eager expression, his face contained an exasperated one.
They settled themselves down as the host went to the kitchen to prepare drinks for them, still a little bit annoyed that the three came to her place as well. It was only supposed to be Ippo, because she felt comfortable to show him the manga she's been making, knowing that she wouldn't make fun of her considering his kind personality, but then Takamura, Kimura, and Itagaki just had to show up. The female felt even more anxious realizing that she had more audience to read her work, and even more upset when it hit her that Takamura's one of them. Her head felt like it was spinning realizing that there are endless possibilities of how this day might end up. Shuddering at the ridiculous scenarios entering her mind, she placed the glasses of juice on a tray and ambled towards the living room.
"It doesn't mean that you have the rights to own the couch as your possession," Itagaki barked, looking all pissed off. Takamura just grinned smugly at him, while Kimura sat on his own seat, acting as if he doesn't hear the bickering between the two. Ippo was trying to stop them, but they weren't even paying attention to him. "Just because you are the world champion! I've had enough of your bad manners, Takamura-san!"
"Ooh, a little rebellious, aren't we?" the world champion taunted the young boxer even more, lying on the couch as if it was his bed. It angered the brunet even more.
"Gh!" Itagaki balled up his fists, but [Your Name] was in time to stop it.
"Calm down, Itagaki-kun," she placed the tray down on the coffee table as she heard Ippo sigh in relief, as if a kind comrade finally came to lend a hand. The mad lad inhaled and exhaled deeply to calm himself down, while she faced Takamura. "And Takamura-san, please sit properly. Others want to sit on the couch as well."
"They could just sit on the floor. Im'ma lie down here," the male picked his nose, still lying comfortably on the couch.
"Oh c'mon!" she hit him nonstop, slapping him on his arm. She was getting frustrated at how the guy was acting. Takamura just chuckled at her, amused at her reaction, while [Your Name] tried to pull him away. "Takamura-san, please!"
