Chapter 4

*the next day at school*

Josie's P.O.V.

Yass, the last Friday before Thanksgiving break! I can't wait to stuff my face with turkey and dressing and see all of my wonderful family! Just gotta get through this last day of idiots.

I get out of bed and jump in the shower. I seem to have better quality days when I take a nice, warm shower in the mornings.

After I get out, I go through my closet to find something cute to where today. I decided on more of a cute, punk rock look. A red flannel plaid shirt with a black tank top underneath, with black leggings and combat boots. After I get that set and ready to be put on, I run to the bathroom and do my makeup. I wasn't gonna go hardcore today, just something simple, but still pretty. I do black, winged eyeliner, a very small amount of light eyeshadow and black mascara. I curled my long, beautiful hair and added a bow. While I was eating breakfast, I figured I would text Katelyn and see if she got Liv to say yes.

Katelyn's P.O.V.

I wake up to my phone alarm blasting Mrs. All American. I smile then get up and begin getting ready.I get all of the makeup out that I need. I settled on more of a dramatic smokey type eye. I put my hair up in a fancy ponytail and just put mousse in it to give it slightly curly waves.

As soon as I get done, I get a text from Josie.

*One New Message from: Ashton's Bandana*

'Heyyyyyyy! Whats up?'

'Supppppp? LAST DAY BEFORE BREAK!!'

'I KNOW!! SO EXCITED!! We should hang out over break!!'

'Yassssss, Tuesday?'

'I'll be there! Imma head to school, meet up with ya there?'

'Will do!'

I look in the mirror to check myself over. I smile at the image I see. I actually felt pretty for the first time in, a long time.

I hope in my car and drive to school to meet up with Josie.

Josie's P.O.V.

I get to school and start to walk to the spot in the hall where I usually stand in the mornings when all of a sudden, Mrs. Ryan pops her head out of the chorus room and calls me over. I take out my headphones, wrapping them tightly around my iPhone.

I walk into the chorus room to see most of the people that are going into the talent show. Mrs. Ryan asked where Katelyn was, and of course I told her she was on her way to school. She said okay and told me to have a seat. So she proceeded to begin a speech.

'So, as you all know, we have a talent show coming up. But unfortunately, we are going to have to bump it up to the week we come back, there will be several people that will be leaving on the original planned date. I'm sorry if that messes up your scheduele, but we have made the prize even better! The band, 5 Seconds of Summer, will spend a whole day with you and give you a personal concert session with you! So lets go!'

I sat in disbelief. One, because Katelyn and I will have to practice more, and two, A PRIVATE FREAKING CONCERT WITH 5SOS!!

We definetly HAVE to win this!

I walk out to meet Katelyn walking in the front doors. I call her over quickly.

'I have some news to tell you!! Its important!!'

Katelyn's P.O.V.

'A PRIVATE CONCERT WITH THEM?! WE DO HAVE TO WIN THIS!!'

'I KNOW!!! We need to practice as much as we can over break so we can blow everyone away!'

'Yasssssss, we will slay!!'

*1st period bell rings*

'Well, I'll see you at lunch yea?'

'Yeppers!'

As Josie walks away, I let out a long breath. I'm not going to be able to tell her. She will kill me..
