Bakugou's POV
Third place!? I got fucking third place?! What the actual hell! Not only that but fucking Deku and the damm candle stick beat me!
I can't even believe this. I lost. I actually fucking lost. What the hell even is that damm candlestick. First, she passes me in a matter of damm seconds in the canyon obstacle looking like a blanket. No wonder she fucking apologized but what I'm really pissed about is that this means I wasn't fighting her before at her full power!
I need to beat this little piece of shit candlestick.
I look over and see that stupid Deku and the candlestick talking. They look like they are fighting about something. Deku's probably pissed because she lied. Deku walks away and Y/n looks really upset.
Ugh! She's so annoying looking all depressed when she's the fucking one who lied!
"Ok, ok everyone! Gather around! It's time to announce the 2nd competition!" Midnight announces interrupting my damm thoughts.
"And it looks like the second competition will be a Calvary Battle!" She announces with a smile on her face.
I hear people cheering and losing their shit over some stupid competition that I'm gonna fucking win.
"Forty-two students qualified for the calvary battle! How this will work is you will create a team with four being the max number of people. You need at least one rider and one horse.
Each student is given a point value and a team's value depending on where their members finished in preliminaries. The forty-second place finish is worth five points, with five points added to the point value with each cascading place. The first-place finisher, however, is worth ten million points!"
That candlestick is worth fucking ten million points?!
"Individual point values are added together to reach each team's total. These point values are displayed via headbands. The goal of the game is to steal headbands in order to raise the team's score. Contestants are not allowed to make each other fall on purpose. Even if a team loses their headband or falls down, they can compete until the thirty-minute time limit is up. The competition will be starting shortly! Go make your teams everyone!"
Everyone immediately starts rushing around to go find somebody to team up with. Shitty hair comes up to me.
"Hey, Bakubro! Wanna be on a team?" Kirishima asks and nudges me.
