Grace was meeting Max. She didn't want to. She hated how she had given into him and his demands again. She knew she had to change that somehow and give him a piece of her mind.

When she arrived at the cafe, she saw Max. He smiled at her. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks. What do you want?" She asked as she sat down. She saw the look on his face. "I know you haven't called me here just to stare at me. Come on."

"I want to be involved. With the baby that is. I know you don't really care much about me being involved with you."

Grace sighed. "You don't understand. I'm not keeping the baby. I'm adopting it out. I can't raise a baby. I'm not in the right frame of mind," she told him.

Max frowned. "So you'd give our baby away? For the sake of not being in the right frame of mind?"

"Don't you dare play the concerned father with me Max cause it's not going to wash. You didn't care about me when you screwed everyone over! You hurt me more than anyone possibly could and I hate you," she said. She knew she was lying and she didn't hate him. In fact she still loved him too much.

Max sighed. "Grace. Let's talk like sensible adults. Please."

"Why? Why do you want to?"

"If you don't want to raise the baby then I will."

Grace was in the flat. She felt anger and hurt. She knew she couldn't keep her baby. But she didn't want Max to raise him or her. She hated how she felt torn and conflicted about it.

Grace got a text from Max;

Think about my offer. It would be better for everyone - Max x

Grace rolled her eyes and ignored the text. She wasn't going to let Max raise the baby. She grabbed her phone again and text Ruby;

You can have the baby. Do not let anyone know or the deal is off - Grace.

Once she sent the text, she began to feel guilt. Guilt over not being able to keep her baby. She hated how she felt so torn. She knew deep down she would have wanted to raise the baby herself. But she couldn't. She couldn't put her baby through what she had gone through.

Tom arrived outside of Grace's flat. He buzzed to get himself in and sighed. He knew that she still wasn't happy with him for bringing back Max. But he couldn't bare to see Grace struggle.

Grace let him in and sighed. "If Max has sent you to do his dirty work then sod off now. I've made a decision and Ruby is adopting the baby. It's for the best."

Tom frowned. "Grace?"

"No. Don't. You and Max drove me to this decision. Did he tell you how he wanted to raise the baby? Single daddy and all?" Grace spat.

"No. He never said."

Grace scoffed. "Just get out Tom. My sister and my mum will be here soon and I don't need you," she said.

Tom turned and left. If he couldn't get through to Grace, maybe he could use her sister to talk some sense into the confused girl.
