If you were to ask someone, anyone to describe callum, they would all say the same things. He was kind, soft, attentive, caring and sweet. He was extremely tall but was like the BFG. I guess that's why he was where he was now. A few months back, he graduated and started work as a nurse in the local hospital. He was in the army but after a bad injury he was left with no qualifications and little to no job experience apart from the army, of course, but that didn't help him get anywhere he wanted. That's when his best friend Chris, from the army, mentioned becoming a nurse because of his natural kind nature. After months of hard work, he had done it.

He nervously put his scrubs on and stared at himself for a solid 5 minutes in the mirror making sure his hair was just right.
"Oi!" Stuart's voice echoed from the kitchen, "You're just going to work, bruv, not on a date. Calm it." He was right. There was nothing for callum to be worried about. It wasn't even his first ever shift.

He had done work experience before but this was his first full shift. Alone.
"I know, I know. Just want to look my best for the patients don't I?" He shouted back before grabbing his coat, keys, wallet and phone and running down the stairs, through the door and to his car.

Only 10 minutes later he was outside Walford hospital. It was quiet but it was only a Tuesday so he wasn't expecting much anyway. He clocked in, walked into the lunch room and got ready. With his pager and pen in hand, Callum marched out into the cold, bleach smelling hospital corridors.

It had been fairly quiet as he had expected so callum spent quite alot of his time just sat at a&e waiting for people to come in, playing with his pen. The doors opened and unlike the other times, a loud and happy laugh filled the room. 'Who could be in a&e and be happy?' He thought to himself so looked up. He cast his eyes upon the owner of that amazing laugh. Oh. My. God. Callums mouth went dry, his hands became sweaty and his heart was beating out of his chest. 'Wow.'
