Sweat screams (part 2)

"Bruce. Get the other out of here. Hawkgirl and I will handle this guy."

Bruce gave a nod and was off gathering the crying people.

Diana drew her sword and locked blades with scarcrow. Hawkgirl form the back tried to make an attack with her mace but failed.

Scarcrow got out of the way and Diana had to move to doge the giant spiked ball.

While Hawkgirl's back was tirnrd to Scarcrow he injected her with some of his toxins. She fell over on top of Wonder Woman.

Hawkgirl

A muscular man ith giant égal wings sprouting out his back entered an area filled with people just like him. He moved to the mike and began to speak.

"After long and hard work we have finally caught the enemy."

As he said each member of the justice league's names he gestured to a giant wooden door. Eveytime a name was said they where walked out into the arena accompanied by two other gaurds with giant electric shock poles to keep them in check.

"Superman. Aquaman. Wonder Woman. Green lantern, Jon, flash, and Batman."

All of them where lined up in the center of the arena. All chained and shackled.

"Where did they get the green stuff?" Aquaman glanced at superman who wasn't looking too good.

"From my belt." Bruce glanced down at his missing utility belt.

"No tricks to get us out of this mess?" Flash looked down at the by round in hopelessness.

John's ring was gone. Jon, was shocked multiple times, the same goes for Wonder Woman, whenever they tried to struggle or shapeshifter out of their restraints they where met with the sting and pain of the electric shock.

"Now, all witness the end of the justice league!"

The man raised a hand. The giant wooden door was opened an 8 beasts where unleashed.

All Alien species. One a dragon like thing, wings that breathed fire. Another had a body fo a giant worm but with the head of a cyclops. The Third was a snake like creature, the fourth, a beast with hooves and giant tusks. Fith, a lion like creature with hundreds of eyes all blinking at different times. next was a mole this thing with the very moment it was released form its cement cage it dug right into the ground. Seventh was a huge elephant monster, not alien, monster that stood tall but moved slow. The last was the creepiest of all. It had spider like likes with a human tornado on top where the eyes should be. It had claws for hands and the scales ran up its arms and back. It's head was that form a nightmare.

The closer the monsters got to her friend the more Hawkgirl couldn't look. Her core tightened and her head hurt.

She tried to destruct herself by thinking of something else but eventually her mind chased her around till she couldn't avoid the topic any longer.

The more she thought about it the morse she was confused. She didn't remember exactly why she didn't just rush down to save them. She could stop this now is she wanted.

The confusing part was why didn't she do it sonner? Why wait it till now? At the very end. What was the reason she let it go this far?

She spread her wings and flew down in the arena. The crowd gasped as she placed herslef between the justice league and the beasts.

The man raised his hand to signal to stop.

"You have a choice to make. Join us or be lumped with the rest of the human scum."

"You can't possibly be serious. It's like choosing between two sides of myself. I protect earth, yes. But that dosent make me any less loyal to my people. We can find a way to..."

"No! Chose. Or die with them." He raised his hand.

She didn't move, she was calling him o his bluff.

But it was no bluff. The man lowered his arm and the the beasts tor into the justice league. As much as Hawkgirl first to stop one beast 7 other would still be on the attack. Thier was too many and the team was still so week.

Hawkgirl saw her friend get ripped to shreds before her eyes. Blood stained sand and monsters with their bellies full.

Bruce had made his way with berry, John, Jon, and aquaman to the exit. He began to dig at the entrance. Lifting debris and pushing beams out of the way.

He couldn't use his explosives to blow a whole. The building was week enough as is. Now missing one more support. If Thier was an explosion the whole side of the building was likely to collapse. 

Scarcrow saw this was was displeased. Taking his scythe he gave a powerful blow to Diana sending her flying through the door bruce was trying to clear. This split second of freedom he took to throw his scythe at Bruce.

"Watch out!" Diana called.

Bruce heard the warning and started to move. He was able to get out of the way just enough so that the scythe didn't penetrate his core but instead graded his arm.

The toxins in the building will affect him much sooner now that he has an open wound. He still had to get the others out and go bakc for superman.

At this point trying to take down scarcrow would be a losing battle. His main concern now was to get all of them out safely.
