Hi, I'm Prancer. Let me tell you my story. I remember when I was a little colt. My mother would run with me and stay close by my side. There were other horses, too. They looked like these horses at Pine Hollow. They looked like Patch, Belle, Samson, Delilah, and Windsong. But Windsong isn't here anymore. Then one day she was sold, and I never saw her again. My father had been sold before that.

My owner saw when I became a young adult horse, I was as fast as a race horse. So one day, I was sold to a new owner. He put me into racing and I became a race horse. I stayed that way for a very long time.

I'll never forget that one day. The day I stopped racing forever. My rider was too much for me. He was kicking me too hard nonstop. My legs were getting too tired. Then it happened. I fell on my side on the ground, unable to get up and unable to move my legs.

I was an inch away from winning. On my side, I scooted to the finish line and won my twentieth and last ribbon. I was then rushed to my doctor and after two years, I was able to walk, but slowly. Carole took me out, lead me, and I would walk.

My owner didn't take care of me anymore, so I got sick one day. Carole came in to tack me up with my brindle, so she could exercise me in leading me. I was so better, that I was able to trot. When she came in, I was lying on the ground. The girls from Pine Hollow took me away. They called the vet, was told what to do, and they did it.

The next day, they were on their way to bring me back when they were stopped by my owner.

Max came with money for me that day. I was then brought here to Pine Hollow. I became Lisa's boarding horse. I was taken good care of by Carole, Lisa, Stevie, and Red. My legs were so much better, that in a few weeks, the white things were taken off.

After that, Lisa and Carole trained me to be tame, and afterwards, Lisa and I started jumping. I'm now a boarding horse that can jump and a former race horse. I'm also a gentle horse who is a mother to my colt. She's like me when I was young. She's almost my size. She's growing up fast. My mate and colt's father is Storm.

Anyway, I have had a wonderful life. Lisa is now my rider and owner. Veronica sometimes rides me as an assignment from Max. I hate it when she rides me, because she works me too hard. It's all I can do to hold it in. To not rear up on her. Why doesn't she ride Storm? That'll teach her a lesson.

I haven't told you about my father. He was wild like Storm, looked like Storm, and took care of his family, rider, owner, and the other horses and good humans. His name was Thunder.

Storm, my colt, and I are a small happy family. We all live at Pine Hollow as boarding horses and most of us have owners. Pine Hollow is a happy, wonderful, awesome place for any horse. Pine Hollow is in the country.

I guess that's my story. That was my whole life I had. Come visit Pine Hollow someday. Bye now. See you at Pine Hollow.
