A loud grunt of pain could be heard through the courtyard. In the gym of said courtyard you could see 2 girls, one looking to be a preteen, the other looking to be in her early 30’s. The preteen laid in pain on the padded floor, while the adult glared down at the young preteen.

“You are weak, nothing compared to your siblings. It’s a disgrace to call you my daughter,” with that the mother left.

It was true the young teen was nothing compared to her older siblings, but that was understandable most of her older siblings were black belts and world champions in their respective martial arts style.

Suddenly a baby golden tiger ran into the gym and sat down next to the girl. The tiger gave her a look that asked, ‘are you okay.’

The girl smiled at her ever faithful companion, “ I’m okay Joey no reason to worry.”

Joey gave her a look that scream, ‘no your not.’

The girl rolled her eyes, still smiling and got up to go to her room, Joey stood up and followed her. Joey was still young so he only reached about to the girls knees, about 3 feet.

When she got to the house one of the maids named Keekee gave her a letter, saying it and a package waiting in her room, were from her father, then the maid scampered off to finish her duties. The girls smile grew at the thought of her father, she ran up the stair and to her bedroom, ignoring her wounds.

Her bedroom was anything but normal for a girl her age, for one thing it was huge! A king sized bed sat in the far right side, it was perfectly made, the dark purple pillows, midnight black and emerald green sheets, arranged in perfectly.

The girl like the rest of the family liked dark thing and weren’t big fans of bright light. That was the exact reason the house, no mansion is a better word, had a gothic feel to it everything was midnight black, dark purple, deep-ocean-dark-blue, and the two brightest colors they had emerald green and blood red! Thats not counting Joey who’s bright orange, gold and black striped fur that stood out anywhere or the girls snow white skin.

Back to the girls room, on the far right side was a window seat with the whole wall around it covered in book shelves - they were mostly covered with books about random thing and a lot of good stories, here and there were little trinkets the girl had collected, the padded seat of the window seat was blood red. The girls 8ft tall walls were painted all the gothic colors swirled around each other, but never mixing too much. The ceiling was covered in loosely draped black fabric. With a casseses-iron chandelier hanging in the middle of the room.

On the next wall was a solid dark-oak desk filled with more books, these ones were for school though. In one corner of the desk was a computer and all the needed accessories to go with it. There were writing materials in cups and thing to write on in neat and organized piles on a shelves a little above the desk. In the far corner of the desk, next to the blood red 7ft double doors was a laptop bag, thrown open so you could see the latest addition alienware custom tm laptop.

On the last wall was posters of nature, archery, and a couple family pictures, but mostly pictures of the girl and her father surrounding a 102” flat screen tv. In front of that was a 5 seater dark purple couch and on both sides were black leather recliner chairs, with a dark oak coffee table sitting between the couch and the tv, the rug underneath it was square, blood red, and fuzzy - like Joey’s fur. The girl referred to this wall as her trinket wall.
