Everything has changed. I'm no longer a high school student. All my friends have gone in different directions and are out in the world on their own. Just like me. No more curfew or cliques or immature high school boys. No more Jack...

"Olivia? Are you going to help me with this?" My brother yelled from the back of his car.

"Oh! Yeah, sorry." I walked over to the trunk and helped him pull out the last of your new dorm room's furniture.

"Do you really need this many organizing bins? How much crap did you bring?" I shot him a look and sighed.

"You'll understand when you go to college." I breathed heavily and carried the bins up to my dorm room.

"So... I guess this is everything." my brother said as he shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Yep. Thanks for helping me with all this stuff." I walked over and hugged him realizing that I won't be seeing him everyday from now on. Just then my moms walked in and joined in on the hug.

"Oh honey! You're finally a college student!" They started talking about everything they liked about the campus and dorm building as you unpacked.

You sat on your bed and checked twitter on your laptop. You started seeing all these tweets from your friends from high school and couldn't help but laugh at a few.
"Guys this school is sick! All the girls are walking around in bikinis!!! This is going to be a good year" From your friend Ricky.
"Nobody told me these dorms were going to be so small..." From your friend Clara.
"I found out that i have to share a bathroom with like 20 other girls... #help" From a girl named Melanie. Then you saw one from Jack... "Its weird as shit to think that every human being on this planet was once an infant." I laughed at how everyone was tweeting about move-in day and here was Jack...
There was a knock on the door and a tall girl with brown hair walked in.
"Hi I'm Cass. I guess I'm your new roommate!" She said with a smile. She looked like a model. You cringed at the thought of what you must look like right now after hauling all these boxes up to your room. You got up from your bed and went over to shake her hand.
"Hi, Im Olivia."
"So my parents are coming down in like an hour to bring my stuff. Do you want to go walk around?"
"Sure!" you grabbed your key and put it in your back pocket.
"So did you go to high school around here?"

After a while Cass had to go back to her room to help her parents with unloading her things. You stayed and sat inside Starbucks, savoring your overpriced ice cold drink. You choose to sit next to the window to people watch just like you loved to do. You saw a couple cute guys walk by. Then as you looked down at your phone, you heard the door open to your right. Not thinking anything of it, you kept scrolling through your twitter feed and sipped more of your drink. You felt someone tap your shoulder, and as you looked up, you saw someone you thought you'd never see again.
