As they were greeted by a friendly waitress, Izuku and Shouto walked into the slightly dimmed restaurant. Shouto had insisted on treating Izuku to his favorite dish; katsudon. They usually go back and forth, treating each other to meals as a small gesture of their care for each other. Both of them agree that it's a cute gesture too.
"Table for two?"
"Yes, please."
The waitress led them to a booth and they both sat down and adjusted themselves.
"What would you two like to drink?" she said with a smile. The two of them looked at their menus and suddenly Izuku gasped. "May I have the All Might fruit drink?" How has he never seen that before? Maybe it's new. "Of course!" the pleasant woman chimed. "And for you, sir?"
"I'll have what he's having."
"Alright, I'll be back with your drinks shortly!"
And with that she rushed away to seat another party of customers. "She's really nice!" Izuku chimed. "I've always had a respect for people who can work in jobs like these for hours and still remain cheerful."
"Yeah, you're right." Shouto responded. "Then again, you seem to see the good in lots of people." 'Like me,' he thought to himself.
"You really think so?"
Shouto propped his elbows on the table and held his head in his hands as he looked into Izuku's emerald eyes.
"I know so."
Izuku laughed as a slight dusting of pink colored his cheeks. "So how is everything with your family?" asked Izuku.
