Usually, when Dabi was asked questions related to his past, he would brush them off. Tomura, however, was different. He was the literal definition of a spoiled brat. When Tomura didn't get his way he would throw a tantrum.

Dabi decided he would tell him a bit about his past. "Fine mophead. When I was little my father abused me along with the rest of my family. No matter how hard I tried, I could never earn his approval." Dabi took another sip of his drink. Tomura sighed.

"When I was little, my father would beat me for pretending to be a hero. Once my quirk had manifested, I accidentally killed him, along with the rest of my family." Tomura clenched his hands into fists.

Hot tears began streaming down his face. "I...I can't remember all the details. I feel so guilty. I had no one else to turn to except for my master. I was so confused as a child. All I ever wanted was a friend, you know?"

Tomura started rambling. Dabi was speechless. For the first time, he felt sorry for Tomura. In a way he...understood him.

He wouldn't stop crying. Slowly, Dabi held Tomura in his arms. He softly spoke. "Everything is going to be okay mophead. I'm here for you."

Dabi knew how to handle situations like this. He had a lot of experience growing up. Whenever his siblings threw a fit, he would be there to comfort them. He led him to his room.

Once Tomura made it to his bed, he immediately passed out. Dabi stayed with him for the rest of the night.
