An Empty Girl In An Empty House
Morning had come
But not at once
For dawn had not yet risen.
The night still reigned
The stars still fight
For the moon had not yet withered. The blinds were up
Lamp light erupts
Upon an empty girl.
That empty girl
Who barely slept
Inside that silent house. Her face turned up
To search for strength
The ceiling could not give.
Her cries for help
Could never shout
In a space outside her mind. She wept her tears
Of misery
For a cause that was unknown.
She had everything she wanted
Yet she still felt all alone.
