"There was no pride in Icarus' story, there was no needless desire to reach the heavens. Icarus flew to be free, he flew because for so long he had been caged underground with no sun, no salty air. There was only darkness in the Labyrinth, and finally, Icarus was free. And so he flew, and fly he did, unlike any mortal before." - Unknown

The quote just popped into his mind. The officer wondered if perhaps Hubris did tell the truth and there was meaning behind the existence of him. Another meaning than sorrow. Perhaps they were mistaken all this long time. Perhaps Dante did make a mistake during his long long journey through hell, purgatory, and heaven.

The officers' thoughts were interrupted by the sound of an opening door. He remembered he had told Kim Soekjin to send in the next one. He had to admit he needed a while to snatch out of his thoughts and come to realize he was about to interrogate another man. This was reality after all and he could not afford to think about the lies the first one had told him. The sudden realization of his sturdiness did not keep him from wondering which sin he had to talk to next.

His eyes scanned the 'human' in front of him to find a clue which it could be. The high laced boots, the ripped jeans, and the leather jacket he had put over his red shirt intended that this man was indeed wrath. The moment the man started to walk towards him with this intense gaze, starring directly into my soul, the moment he lifted his hand, fitted with rings, to ruffle trough his already messy gray locks, the moment he pulled his chair with such belligerence it nearly broke, the officer was absolutely sure about his assumption he made before.

"My husband sent me" were the first words he spoke, his voice calm, to the man's surprise, sitting opposite of him.

"You must be Kim Namjoon then?" He guessed. A moment after it got confirmed by said man.

"Are you going to explain to me why you are not as bad as people think? Are you going to tell me lies as your boyfriend did just a few minutes ago?" the officer teased, just to be confronted by Namjoon jumping forwards, grabbing his tie. The officer tried to hide his flinching without success.

"You can insult me as much as you deem necessary, but don't you dare insult my husband ever again." Namjoon spat, causing the man in front of him to nod in agreement.

After deciding he would not raise his voice against Jin again, he leaned back and began to speak, this time with a much calmer voice, one could say almost friendly."You are right indeed, I am gonna tell you why I am not as bad as you think I am, even though it will be hard to convince you after my tantrum. But I am sure by the end of my explanation you will understand.", he smiled. As he did so, the officer immediately understood what Seokjin had told him a few minutes ago, he appeared beautiful with his dimples which began to show the moment he started smiling. Maybe he was indeed not as selfish as he seemed and could love another person beside him.

Once again the officer was brought back to reality by Namjoon who did begin to speak again. "You see, wrath is no synonym for violence. The word was invented by humans and so its definition, but I was sent to earth for another purpose. I am here to protect the ones I love and to teach humanity to do the same. I give people a strong feeling that leads them to take action. These feelings I'm talking about are triggered when anything threatens the ones you care about the most or generally good people who need to be protected or defended.", after a short pause he added "Sadly humans tend to misinterpret everything. They make me accountable for violence caused not by wrath, but by plain dumbness or incomprehensibility. Let's underline my statement with an example. If some ISS adherent decides it would be a great idea to kill as many people as possible by causing a terrorist attack, he clearly acts due to his misunderstanding of the Koran and by the influence of other fighters and therefore he causes violence out of stupidity and hurts or, even worse, eliminates human beings without a logical reason. But if you take a man who's friend or family member is threatened by a person, causing him to snap and fight the one causing him to do so, it is justified if he to reach means to protect his loved ones. This is what I do. I am called wrath because Dante gave me that name, but apparently he didn't waste a thought on actually talking to me and asking about my reasons, instead, he decided to judge me and my actions without knowing them. All I do is protecting my husband, my family, my friends and the innocent who can't take actions by themselves."

The police officer had listened to what he said observantly, Namjoon had noticed. Now he waited for a response, curious about whether he got what he said or not. Three minutes later he still stared at the man sitting across from him, being lost in his thoughts once more. Namjoon could have started to speak, but this time he decided not to, this time he let him think, not intending to interfere with his thoughts a third time. Another three minuted passed without a reaction by the officer. Namjoon waited patiently. After a minute the man finally looked up, his eyes intertwining with Namjoons. He let out a long sigh before shaking his head. Kim Namjoons smile he put on before dropped the moment he saw the man's expression. He knew exactly he had come to the conclusion he must have been telling lies, assuming his husband did the same before. It made him angry, the fact he did not want to realize he was wrong, that humanity was wrong all the time.

Namjoon had enough. He was not about to give him some more of his valuable attention. With a sudden jolt, he pushed the chair he has been sitting on the whole time. He did not waste a glance at the officer on his way to the door. Without looking behind him he said "I suppose you want me to send in the next liar.", before slamming the door shut behind him, not waiting for his answer this time.

The officer let his head drop, preparing himself for the coming hours. He was already tired.
