Kwon Chung-hee headed back into the room he had been spending the last few hours, interrogating the so-called seven deadly sins who he discovered did by no means deserve to be called that way. He had planned to invite the last one by himself, accompanying Jeon Jungkook into the waiting room which looked just as uninviting as the interrogation room did with its grey walls, small windows through which barely any light had the chance to shine and the old chairs that soon were to fall apart, at least that was what the officer thought they looked like. He had played with the thought of redecorating the whole police department more than just once, it basically popped into his head every time he had to change rooms for whatever purpose, noticing how wretched they all appeared each time he stepped through the door, the worst it had hit him when arriving at his workplace, leading him to make plans to finally tackling the problem and going to the next furniture store that was not even 50 meters away from the station. However, he had never done it, being too busy at work or, whenever he was not drowning in a pile of papers or people he had to chase after, he just had not could bring himself to actually get up from his work desk and move himself to go and buy any kind of furniture or wall paint. If he was honest, he always had rescheduled his plans, not being able to actually get something big done that was not part of his daily routine, thinking about it, he kind of had postponed everything he could in the last few years, how many exactly he did not seem to remember, but sure he could tell that it has been a too long-lasting period of time he had done it, constantly feeling exhausted and tired, never being able to collect the strength to realize his plans and enjoy life at its fullest which he had been promising to himself and his wife at their wedding day six years ago. The officer did not quite understand how one single day at which he had met six different people so far, one still about to follow, could change his whole mental attitude towards of how to live a good life, but he accepted it, finally feeling keen to see what the future will hold for him and his beloved family. After he had been speaking to Jungkook, he had felt his joy of life rise up what had made him extremely excited, even more than he had been before, to finally meet the last boy, wanting to see him before he would enter the interrogation room with him, but he soon was about to get disappointed in doing so, since before he could catch a glimpse, Min Yoongi had been approaching him, blocking his view. He soon had learned that this would not have happened without a reason for it, Yoongi kind of forcing him to stop in his tracks, making him face the other way he had intentionally planned to look at, explaining to him that Jimin, that was the last one's name, would need another minute to calm himself down before he would be able to enter the interrogation room. It had been obvious that Yoongi cared a lot about Jimin, wanting to protect him at all cost, his action being a piece of evidence to the hypothesis of Min Yoongi being Park Jimin's boyfriend, and therefore Jungkook and Taehyung being together, that the officer had been formulating in the past hour. He had told Yoongi that he would await him inside, not wanting to rush Jimin, giving him the time he needed to collect himself and talk to him, those few minutes he could also still wait. As he thought about it, he noticed he may have been wishing to be kept waiting for a bit longer, not wanting to write the report with his conclusions to the government on one side, on the other he had enjoyed the last hours and now that he had discovered and learned so much new, he did not want the time he could spend with the boys to end, sure he was ready to head back home to see his children and wife he loved so much, but he was sure that he would not have the pleasure to meet the boys again, once they would leave this building.
Ten minutes had passed since Chung-hee had placed himself on his chair, he had lost himself in his own thoughts just as he had been doing the whole day, he was sure there had not been a day in his life at which he had scrutinized as much as he had today, not being surprised by his sudden realization though, it would have been wrong if he had not. The sudden movement of the door on the wall he had been facing the whole time surprised him, not having expected Jimin to come here that soon after seeing Yoongi being that concerned about him and now as he did enter, Yoongis worries got confirmed to the officer. Jimin had finally reached the chair opposite of the officer, sitting himself down with a kind of grace one only rarely had the pleasure to witness, but the officer knew better, his senses being extremely sensitive, he noticed immediately the shy and anxious movements of the man, folding up his body, not having raised his head until now. Their eyes met, Chung-hee finding himself unable to speak as soon as his eyes met the other ones, shining bright green, seeming like they could see directly into his soul, being able to read any thought he would like to form. He remembered the eye colour of Jimins friends, all of them being brown, leading him to wonder whether he wore contact lenses or if this really was his real one. He knew he would not ask him, so instead of staring into his eyes the whole time, he observed the rest of his face, the sharp features combined with his full lips and tiny nose worked perfectly well together, forming one of the prettiest faces he had ever seen. Perhaps it was not as stunning as Seokjins had been, but who was he to compare them, both being incredibly beautiful in their own way. His glance trailed to his choice of clothes, scanning his black pants combined with fitting boots, added to a beige turtleneck which appeared in the form of a shirt, simple but yet suiting him perfectly, the fabric flowing around his body elegantly like flames dancing in the wind, surrounding whatever they could reach. He did not speak yet, but the officer got reminded of both, water and fire while looking at his deep emerald eyes, filled with just a bit too much doubt, having cried just a few too many tears he could tell Jimin had shed, his eyes seeming tired, dead, desperately begging for help, yet still hopeful, clinging to life, searching for foothold, the desire to live still burning bright inside of him. Both sides fought for dominance, a battle about dying and healing, the outcome depending on the amount of both of them, water putting out fire or fire evaporating water. Chung-hee hoped for Jimin to survive, so he decided to stoke the fire to let it grow and gain more strength.
