I will admit, I'm kind of freaking out. Why would Jameson come to my house? Like, he barely knows who I am so....
I get to the door and open it, looking at him. "Yes?"
"You're one of Tyler's friends, right?" He asks and I nod, hesitantly and feeling confused.
What? There's no way I could tell him that we're enemies.
He continues. "Tyler and I got into a fight last night. I was just hoping that he came here, I've tried everywhere else and I just...I'm worried."
...I will admit that he's a good liar, but his power has never worked on me. He can't force me to believe anything he says, no matter how hard he tries.
"No, I haven't seen him. I'm sorry Jameson, I wish I could help." I go to shut the door but he holds it open, his eyes glowing gold.
"I highly encourage you not to lie to me, Alex. Some very *very* bad things have happened to people that lied to me." He speaks in a dangerously calm voice which sets off my fight or flight reflexes.
"I wasn't lying Jameson, now please. Leave." I go to shut the door again but he grabs my wrist and pulls me outside.
"I told you not to lie to me." He growls in a low voice.
