Yami Yugi [Sunset]

[Yami Yugi, Sunset]

You checked the time. It was about 6:45pm. You smiled at yourself and headed out to the beach. Yes, you lived pretty close to the edge of the city. The beach was only a 10 minute walk from your house. 

The sunset was always amazing over there, sinking into the blue ocean, turning it from sparkling, sky blue to midnight, gleaming blue. You smoothed out a small picnic cloth onto the sand and sat on it, reading a book until the sunset starts. As you finished a chapter, you heard someone call out to you.

"[Y/N]?" You heard a familiar voice shouted from behind. You turned around to come face to face with Yami! Your eyes widened.

"Yami?! What are you doing here, and...How did you get here so quickly? Don't you and the others live in the city?" You asked curiously.

"Ah, well, you left your bracelet back at the Kame Store last time you came over," Yami started and held our your [f/c] bracelet, "And I left pretty early. I saw you leave your house and walk this way, so I followed you." Yami explained.

"Oh." You responded and took back your bracelet, hooking it back onto your wrist.

"So, what are you doing here?" Yami then asked you.

"I'm going to watch the sunset!" You replied, pointing to the sun in the distance. "You wanna join me?" You asked with a sweet smile. Yami smiled back at you.

"Sure, I have time." Yami said. You moved over so Yami could sit next to you on the picnic cloth, and you put your book away. "Have you ever seen the sunset before?" You asked him. Yami shook his head.

"I don't think so. I don't remember watching it before, and I live in the city with Yugi, so we can't see it." Yami replied. You nodded and faced the sea, hugging your knees to your chest. Soon the sun began to take its dive into the water and  you smiled.

"Then you'd better remember these moments!" You happily said and watched it slowly disappear behind the blue water. You eyed Yami and saw he was in awe, which set you off into a burst of giggles. "Like it?" You questioned. Yami faced you smiling and nodded.

"Indeed, it was beautiful...But not as beautiful as you." Yami told you. Your eyes widened and you could feel your cheeks being heated up to a rosey-red color. 

"O-Oh! Uh, thanks Yami..." You thanked. You couldn't really find the right words to say after that. Yami chuckled at your reaction and stood up, offering a hand.

"Let's head back, it's going to get cold soon." Yami offered. You agreed, feeling a bit cold as you wrapped up the cloth. You took Yami's hand and he walked you back home.

You promised yourself that you will never forget this day...not even until the day you die.
