Izuku's POV~
We must have played that game for hours! I still wasn't anywhere near good at it, but I was better then when I first started. We didn't play online again, I was a bit reluctant to after the first time.
"Wait, wait, wait- No!" I yelled as I was killed again. I had been doing so well that round! I had made nearly half way without dying once!
Kirishima chuckled, the sound vibrating through my own chest because of our new position. I had gotten so into one of the rounds, I had tried to sit up and ended up just sitting on Kirishima's back, then once everything calmed down, I leaned forwards and laid on my stomach, so now we were just stacked up. He was laying on the bed on his stomach, and I was laying on my stomach on his back, my controller and head placed onto of his hair.
The round ended and we won again, but I was still being out ranked by bots and, obviously, Kirishima, who had the top rank the whole time we played. "This is ridiculous! I just suck at video games." I whined as he clicked on another map. It was one we had already played, but at this point we had played all of them and were just picking our favorites.
"You just need to practice. You're only been playing for," he trailed off as he looked at the clock. "Three hours." He said, turning his attention back to the game.
"Three hours?!" I exclaimed, checking the time for myself, and sure enough, it was three hours later. "Shouldn't our class be back by now?" I asked him, the countdown on the screen starting.
"Yeah, they probably already are." He said absentmindedly as he shot at the bots on the other team.
"After this round, we can take a break and get some food? I didn't eat before the movie." I asked, feeling the hollowness in my stomach.
"Yeah of course, I was actually gonna ask the same thing." He said.
We finished the round and I was able to beat all the bots on our team, ranking second! "Look! I finally did it!" I exclaimed, jumping off of him and pointing at the screen.
"Way to go dude! I told you, you'd get the hang of it!" He said, sitting up and stretching out his arms and back.
I winced when he cracked his back a whole bunch. "Did I hurt you when I was on your back?" I asked him worriedly.
"Nah, you literally weigh nothing. Don't worry about it." He said, waving me off. I wanted to disagree with him, but I didn't want to start anything.
"Food now?" I asked him.
"Yup, food." He confirmed standing up.
We both walked out of his room, talking about different parts of the game. He was giving me a few pointers and the best spots to camp. When we got downstairs, we saw that most of our class was hanging out and watching tv or doing homework.
"Deku! Where have you been? You just left the movie." Uraraka asked, rushing over to me as Kirishima sent me a 'good luck with that' look and disappeared into the kitchen.
Traitor.
"Uh yeah, I wasn't feeling good so Kirishima offered to bring me back here and hang out until you guys got back. We must have lost track of time." I said, running a hand through my hair nervously. I just hoped she didn't pick up on the lie.
"Lost track of time doing what?" She asked me in a hushed tone, smirking at me suggestively.
My cheeks flared up at what she was implying. "No Ura! We were playing video games! Gosh, get your head out of the gutter." I said, lightly shoving her in the shoulder while she laughed at how flustered I got.
"Mhm, I'm sure it was just video games. Just bro stuff. No touching or anything involved, right?" She asked me rhetorically, a knowing look on her face.
I blushed harder, realizing that it hadn't just been strictly 'bro' stuff. I didn't think bros laid on top of their bros. I wouldn't really know though, I hang out with mainly Uraraka, Iida, and Todoroki. None of them were really... 'bros'.
"Ha! I knew it! You're totally crushing on him, aren't you!" She whisper-yelled. I, at least, appreciated that she was trying to keep her voice down while talking about this stuff.
"I'm not having this conversation with you right now." I said, crossing my arms sassily.
"Fine." She said respectively. "Tell me tomorrow!" She added, pushing me into the kitchen and disappearing before I could fight more about it.
Kirishima turned his head from where he was making instant noodles, when he heard me come crashing into the room. I hit my hip on the counter, which knocked off a glass, causing it to shatter.
"Ow!" I exclaimed, holding my hip as I looked at all the glass that was now on the floor.
"Jesus Midoriya, you aren't very graceful, are you?" He asked me teasingly, setting his food down and walking over to me. I hadn't moved because there was glass everywhere and I wasn't wearing shoes, just socks.
"Funny." I said back, still holding my hip where there was now a dull ache. I knew it was definitely going to bruise.
"Come on, give me your hand." He said, holding his own out to me. I grabbed it and jumped. I was able to clear all of the glass, thanks to him also pulling me towards himself.
I ended up flush against his chest, nearly falling back onto the shards. He wrapped his arms around my waist and stepped back a bit, steadying both of us in the process. I let out a deep breath, relieved I wouldn't have to clean glass out of my back that night.
I looked up to thank him, only to realize how close we now were. My breath hitched as we both gazed into each other's eyes. I saw his flick down, towards my lips. He hesitantly moved closer.
I felt a ghost of a kiss, before someone cleared their throats behind me, causing both of us to jump and me to fall backwards. I saw Kirishima try to grab onto me, but he grabbed empty air.
"Fuck!"
