Stanley's POV:
I ran halfway up the stairs and stopped when I heard Beverly shout 'Because I saw him die, I've seen us all die' at that moment my legs gave out from underneath me and I collapsed on the stairs and began to cry uncontrollably, Bill ran down to me and pulled me close he looked up at Beverly and said 'I think you'd better tell us what you've seen'.
Once I'd calmed down we sat in the bar at the town house and listened to Beverly she took a deep breath and said 'Every night since I left Derry, I've had nightmares I see people in pain, dying', Richie interrupted Beverly by shouting 'So what People have nightmares all the time, that doesn't mean your visions are true'. Beverly looked up and sharply said 'I've seen each of us die this week' I leaned into Bill and said 'So how come I'm still alive then, am I still going to die', Beverly shook her head and replied 'In my nightmare I saw you in the bath and you slit your wrists'.
I looked at Bill and then back at the others before saying 'I think I might have cheated death, because I slit my wrists after Mike called me to tell me that IT was back. But Bill saved me before it was too late', Eddie stood up and said 'So that means that as long as we have someone around to protect us whilst we're here, then we should all be able to cheat death as-well'.
Richie's POV:
I felt incredibly sad after Stanley told us that he Slit his wrists after Mike called him but he had Bill to protect him and keep him safe, I didn't have Eddie to protect me when I slit my wrists when I was younger. I stood up from where I was sitting and said 'So Mike how do we defeat Pennywise once and for all', Mike turned around and said 'For the ritual to work...We must remember' Eddie rested his head against my right shoulder and said 'Remember what'.
Mike picked up his back pack and said 'We're running out of time it's best I show you, this cycle will end soon and when it does....we'll all be screwed'.
We left the town house and walked through the main street and then across the meadows near the railway bridge, until we found ourselves standing in the woods near the Barron's. I looked around and said 'Hey guys do you remember we came here after the rock fight' Stanley nodded and said 'Yeah that's right Richie, isn't the clubhouse around here as-well', we all started looking around for the hatch entrance to the clubhouse Ben walked passed me and said 'You know what guys I'm pretty sure the hatch was'.
However Ben never got to finish that sentence as the spot where he was stood gave way from underneath him and he fell do, Bill ran to the entrance and said 'Ben are you alright' Ben rolled over onto his back and said 'Yeah I'm fine, it looks safe come down guys'.
Bill's POV:
One by one we climbed down into the clubhouse it smelt damp and musky but instantly the memories I had of all the good times we'd spent down here came flooding back, Stanley crouched down and picked up a small red ball which at one time had been attached to Ben's Paddle ball. We all sat around in a circle Eddie broke the silence by saying 'Ok Mike why are we here' Mike turned his notebook around and showed us a page with loads of writing on and said 'Performing a ritual requires a sacrifice', Richie smiled and said 'If we need a sacrifice I nominate Eddie'.
Mike smiled and replied 'It's not that type of Sacrifice Richie, we each have an artefact hidden somewhere in Derry. It'll be something from either a good or a bad memory' Stanley looked up and said 'So where do we find our artefacts'. Mike put his notebook back into his backpack and said 'It depends where you left it, you each have to find your own artefact...Alone. And when you've found them come and meet me at the Library'.
Eddie's POV:
After leaving the clubhouse everyone started to head off in their own directions to try and find their artefacts I took a deep breath and said 'Wait shouldn't we stick together, splitting up would be a stupid idea', Richie stopped and said 'Yeah I agree with my Eddie Spaghetti, we should go together'. Mike leaned against one of the trees and said 'Eddie we need to find our artefacts alone, you'll be fine' I frantically put my hands on my head and shouted 'I still insist we should stay together, after all we were together during that summer right?'.
Stanley looked down at the ground and said 'No we weren't together all summer'.
