As Erinelle and Edmund walked, they noticed as if something was staring at them. Glaring, even. That is until Edmund turned his head and noticed a giant. It had its club raised with an angry look on its face. Icicles were at the tip of its fingers and freshly powdered snow was on its head. The pair looked around and soon noticed that the courtyard was filled with creatures, either in mid-strike or looking in pain.

They came upon a lion that looked to be snarling. Before she could stop him, Erinelle watched as Edmund drew wonky glasses and a moustache on the poor lion. Edmund grinned, but it was soon wiped off his face at the glare he was met when he turned around.

"I cannot believe you did that!" She scolded, frowning.

"Whatever. It's still funny," Edmund smirked as they continued treading towards the tall iron gate.

"Are you sure it's safe?" The 10-year-old girl asked quietly.

"Of course it is. See, I'll prove it," the boy took a cautious step over the supposedly stone wolf, only to be pounced on.

"Edmund!" The girl shrieked and reached out to help him, but the aggressive wolf snarled. Erinelle whimpered and took a step back.

"Be still, stranger, or you'll never move again. Who are you?" The wolf growled, showing his filthy yellow teeth and allowing Edmund to smell his horrifying disgusting breath.

"I-I'm Edmund! I m-met the Queen in the woods! She told me to come back here!" He was shouting frantically. The wolf only growled and was about to open his mouth when he finally yelled "I'm a son of Adam! She's a daughter of Eve!"

"Hmm, my apologies, fortunate favourite of the queen. Or else, not so fortunate. And you!" The wolf's head snapped towards Erinelle, causing her to flinch and step back. "Enter if you will."

Inside the room where the mammal told the two to wait, Erinelle asked, "Who was he?" To which the boy did not answer. Instead, he sat on the queen's throne that was covered in a soft furry blanket. "Edmund, what are you doing, you're going to get into trouble again!"

"Like it?" A voice startled the two children, and there, standing before them, was the white Which herself.

"I-I-I yes, your majesty," Edmund stuttered.

"I thought you might," the lady said, before turning to the brunette girl that was still standing on the floor. "You. Who are you?" Demanded the witch.

"E-Erinelle, y-your majesty," the girl's eyes widened at being addressed by a witch.

"Hmm. Tell me, Edmund," the witch sat down where Edmund had sat moments before. "Are your sisters deaf?"

"No," answered the boy, smiling slightly when she asked this.

"Is your brother... unintelligent?"

"Well, I think so, but mum says-" began the back-haired boy, only to be cut off with a shout by the witch.

"Then how dare you come alone!" the shout startled the boy and he stepped back.

"I brought her!" Edmund pointed a finger at Erinelle.

"Tell me, Edmund, how many of you came to Narnia?" The witch asked, glaring at the boy.

"Five. Well, including me, of course."

"And is she of your blood?"

"No, she's a friend."

"Then she is no use to me!" the Queen shouted. "Edmund, I asked so little of you-"

"They-they just don't listen to me!" The boy defended.

"And you couldn't even do that," the witch ignored poor boy who was most likely scared to death.

"I did bring them halfway! They're at the little house at the dam. With the Beavers!" Edmund revealed.

"Edmund!" Erinelle hissed, a slight scold in her tone.

The White Witch tapped a finger on her dress, "Well I guess you aren't a total loss then, are you."

"Edmund!" Erinelle snapped once more but was ignored.

"I... I was wondering if I could have some more Turkish delight now?" Edmund asked, causing Erinelle to roll her eyes.

"Of all the things you could have asked, you asked that? Why not, I don't know, 'can we leave now'?"

The witch turned towards the dwarf and said in a fake soft voice, "our guest is hungry. And take the girl as well."

The dwarf smirked, and, unsheathing a dagger, put it against his back. "This way for your num-nums," he said in a scratchy voice while grabbing Erinelle's wrist and dragged the two away, only calling the wolf and telling instructions. Suddenly, the wolf howled, and out of the shadows, came of white and grey appeared.

Erinelle looked at Edmund, "Why did you tell her?" He didn't answer.
