(S/n) - Sister's name [If you have no sister then pretend you have one]
---------------------------------------------------------------
(Y/n)'s POV
Taking some light steps, I waltzed through the garden - like corridors with my sister by my side. The scent of roses and other fresh flowers entered my nostrils, giving me this state of relaxation. (S/n) kept throwing away some wisteria petals while giggling in joy. It scattered all over the floor but this was already normal since mother wanted all of us to be safe from demons.
"Mother we're going out for a walk!" I said to my foster parent, miss Akari. She was busy with my other foster siblings but she was quick to give me attention.
"Alright, be sure to come back before sunset," she replied with a gentle smile. I took my little sister's hand as we headed outside of the house.
"Let's go to Kyojuro-san's house!" (S/n) kept tugging my sleeves in an attempt to persuade me.
"(S/n) I already told you we're going out to buy that mochi from that new store that just opened up and we're definitely not going to Rengoku-san cause he's busy..." I reasoned out. I could see my sister's big pout on her face and I knew what she's planning next.
"WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!" she clung on my legs with fat tears streaming from her eyes. I facepalmed and dragged myself to the store, ignoring my sister's protests.
'This is so embarrassing...' I kept my hand on my face so people won't look at me when they see my sister throwing a tantrum. After my sister's tears ran out it was a perfect timing that we made it to the store. I was able to buy the mochi that I've always wanted with a discount.
"Here," I gave a mochi to my little sister to at least cheer her up. She didn't say anything and just snatched the food from my hand. She was definitely giving me the silent treatment.
We walked out from the store and beyond the crowded area I have spotted a familiar blonde with red tips and a bright smile that can burn my eyes in an instant. He stood out most in the crowd because of his clothing.
"Rengoku-san!" I waved my hands to catch his attention. The flame pillar noticed my presence eventually and walked at my direction.
"Good morning (l/n)-chan and (s/n)-chan," he kneeled to my sister's height and awarded her with a pat on the head. My sister's pout was replaced with a big smile thanks to Kyojuro.
"I thought you were on a mission," I spoke.
He stood up and turned to me, "Oyakata-sama did not assign me to a new mission yet so here I am roaming around."
My mouth formed an 'o' shape as I nod in understanding. (S/n) was having fun with Kyojuro ever since I introduced her to him. This had me smiling at them that I hadn't notice (s/n) talking to me.
"Neesan why are you staring at Kyojuro-san like that?" my little sister smirked that caught me off guard.
"H-huh?!" I was pushed back to reality by that smug face of hers.
"You've been smiling at him for 10 seconds and you weren't even blinking an eye!" she said, a little too loud for my liking.
"I was not!" I retorted.
"You were!"
"Was not!"
"You were!"
"I'm telling your crush that you're the one who's been giving him all those love letters," I smirked teasingly to my sister. Yes, this is how sadistic I am when we argue.
